[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. –Roscelese (talk ⋅ contribs) 05:11, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Pharaoh of the Wizards. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Same-sex marriage, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 06:22, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
I've started a discussion at Talk:Same-sex marriage regarding the caption. Your point is well taken, but please be careful not to edit war; it's contrary to policy, makes people mad, and can have unfortunate consequences. Here's a good essay to read when you get a moment. Hi Bradyculous. Just letting you know I have reverted your deletion of the word "successful" in the Romney article. This has been extensively discussed on the article talk page previously. The consensus is that this word accurately reflects what the reliable sources say about Romney in this context - it is not POV or editor opinion, it is source consensus. If you have further concerns about it, please take it up on the talk page. Cheers, hamiltonstone (talk) 00:19, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to British Columbia general election, 2013, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 01:33, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
