List of Division I-FBS college football stadiums
Hi. I reverted your last edit to this article about Falcon Stadium. I do think you were trying to improve the article and information, but Falcon Stadium is on the grounds of the AFA which is not considered part of Colorado Springs city. If you were to send a letter to Falcon Stadium, you would put AFA as the city, not Colorado Springs -- though if you did put Colorado Springs, it would still likely get there because the post office is probably used to it, but that's aside the point. I went to the AFA website and looked at visitor information and at the bottom of the page they give an address of "...AFA, CO...". Just wanted to address this to you personally so you don't feel (hopefully) that I'm going off half-cocked and reverting your work or anything like that. If you feel strongly about this (that CoSprings is better/more accurate), we can take it to the talk page of the article and seek the help of the other editors working on the article. Thank you for understanding. --MECU≈talk 13:25, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

TAMU History
Thanks for including the original link to the Handbook of Texas -- that's what made me decide to do some work. If you find that any of those Aggie history books are really good reads please let me know -- I think that's just what my personal library needs :) I wasn't in the Corps so don't have as much of the Aggie history memorized, but I think I've found sources for and added everything I can remember (it's been 7 years since I graduated!). I hope you find some more interesting tidbits. Karanacs 19:42, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Baylor College of Medicine edits
Please do not edit the list of notable alums. Unless you have reason to believe that Alison Mao is not notable, I think her name should remain. I added the list, and I think it helps ppl who might be interested in BCM to know the caliber of people associated with the institution. Avaron676 03:19, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Wehner Building
Hi BlueAg.
I know not everyone practically lives on West Campus like I used to, but if you do meander over there, could you possibly take a picture of Wehner? I'd like to include one on the Mays Business School page, but it might be awhile before I make it back to Aggieland. Thanks! Karanacs 16:21, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello
Hey there. Thanks for the edit to 2007 Texas Longhorn football team. Every little bit helps. I was starting to feel all alone over there. Any suggestions for the article as a whole? Do you think I captured the main things people will want to know about the Texas/Texas A&M game as far as the lead-in goes? (Not much I can do about the actual games yet, of course). I'd love some (semi)disinterested feedback but I don't want to bother with a peer reveiw or anything at this stage.
Also, I just tossed out some questions at Talk:Texas A&M Aggies.
Best, Johntex\talk 04:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hello again - thanks for the note and for looking over that article. I actually started it prior to the formation of the CFBWP version. I've been thinking of converting it, but you are right that the "official" version is more complicated. I may need to get Nmajdan to help me with it!
- I have no doubt that you will make a wonderful admin at some point in the not too distant future. I would be happy to see if I can make any sensible suggestions. Right now, I fear I am up to late already and I need to turn in. I'll be back to you soon. Take care, Johntex\talk 05:55, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:GiantMagellanTelescope-CarnegieObservatories.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:GiantMagellanTelescope-CarnegieObservatories.gif. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Yeah, there is a redirect. Just trying to make things a little bit more streamlined since there's no bot to disambiguate links to Texas Tech the way there is for other articles (e.g. Las Vegas, Nevada). At least no bot that I know of. --Wordbuilder 15:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Mays Business School (Texas A&M)
I'm not sure why you continue to rearrange the rankings for Mays Business School at Texas A&M by taking the rankings out of the MBA section and placing them into an "Overall" category. If you go to each of those rankings sites (US News, Financial Times, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, etc.), they are ranking MBA programs. Many of those schools only offer an MBA, and the links on those sites direct you to the Mays MBA site, not to the Mays home site.
Here is the US News link for A&M: [1], from the actual rankings site (check out the url - MBA): [2]
Financial Times explicitly says "Global MBA rankings" [3]
Forbes' link to Mays' MBA program: [4], from the rankings site (notice salary information, "Pre-MBA", "Post-MBA": [5]
BusinessWeek's is explicitly called "MBA Rankings": [6]
Wall Street Journal (notice the link): [7]
Princeton Review (notice the url - MBA, and the link to the Mays MBA page): [8] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.134.209.197 (talk) 21:48, 11 April 2007 (UTC).

Editing
I'm not sure If I will be back in any major capacity to edit A&M related articles this summer. I should be working over at AggieSat Lab most of the time, or taking a summer class. Also there are several software projects of my own that I am attempting to complete this summer. Therefore I won't be able to devote much time to helping out, but I will still attempt to contribute. -- Hut101 05:17, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Snoop-Dogg-TexasA&MApparel.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Snoop-Dogg-TexasA&MApparel.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Campus article
A whole section on the campus seems appropriate given the extent as to which there is history associated with each. (See comments on talk page) — BQZip01 — talk 05:51, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Could you give me a description of what sections you might include, and explain how creating a separate article won't cause the Campus section to become a place holder like the Student Government Association section. -- Hut101 23:37, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll help. Though I'm not sure about the history section, as I don't want a replication of the History article. Maybe we can define it as history not relating to the development of A&M itself but of buildings on campus, as you said, evolution of on-campus activities, and the surrounding community. -- Hut101 23:48, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Have you created the page? -- Hut101 23:59, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Image Placement
You recently moved the images within the Research section. I prefer that the Research title was flush against the left side of the article inline with all other section headers. Your opinion? -- Hut101 23:22, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- I like alternating the images, however, it personally looks better having all the section headers flush against the left side of the article. I went ahead and changed it. -- Hut101 23:28, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Already added business folks
Please don't add any more business leaders. The references are killing us on space. We might be able to eek out at 90K with an FA review, but 100K will shoot us down quickly. If anything, I was thinking about cutting it a bit. There is a separate article for this as it is and I don't think we need all of these. — BQZip01 — talk 05:29, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Ref template
Hi BlueAg. Just noticed you formatted one citation on the 50 Cent page into a template. Was there something wrong with the manual citation? All the refs should be the same format and the dates wikilinked to adjust to the user's date preferences. Spellcast 07:23, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- It's good to have another person helping to drive this to a GA (it's very close). Below are two comparisons of the ref format. The first being manual, the second using a template:
- Youngs, Ian (December 23 2002). 50 Cent: The $1m rapper. BBC News.
-
If you save both of those seperately into Notepad, you'll see the manual format take up less space (159 bytes compared to 212) and makes the date easier to read (December 23, 2002 rather than 2002-12-23). It doesn't matter which one is used, but I personally use the manual format because it does the same thing as the template and uses up less space. Spellcast 08:14, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Thought you might get a kick out of this
I saw that OU also has their school article up for FA nomination. I really wanted us to be the first Big 12 school, so that gave me the stamina to go over their article with a fine tooth comb. While my motives weren't exactly pure, I didn't give them any problems I honestly thought weren't there...the list of changes they should make is a couple of pages long... — BQZip01 — talk 05:00, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

TAMUQ: Charles Bowman
Charles Bowman is not a vice-president of Texas A&M University; nor is he over the campus. He is a former dean/ceo of the campus and sets on the joint advisory board for the campus. Mark Weichold is the current Dean/CEO. I'm making these changes again - you undid them after my last change.

Side note
I think we should all take an A&M-related page and try to upgrade it to FA status. We can review each other's work and comment. When it comes time to put each page up for nomination, we can then add oppose, comment, support, each effort without having too much of a conflict in interest.
- I'll spread that around and see what people think, but not today. I am so very, very tired, (already working on it, still very rough, but it's improving.)— BQZip01 — talk 03:09, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

All, I have significantly updated/upgraded the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band page. It still needs work, but is a vast improvement from the previous version. Duke page
I see you've been looking at the Duke page too. I humbly think their standards of FA are pretty low. I want to give them time to fix these problems, but if no one even attempts a fix in the next few week(s), I say we propose removing it from Featured Article status. We put far too much effort into our FA that it seems they never even attempted. Like I said, I'm willing to give them a chance, but they have to do SOMETHING about it. — BQZip01 — talk 16:54, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Texas A&M University Color Seal
Hey, I saw that you replaced the color seal I posted with the old single color maroon seal. Would you please clarify as to why?
Both seals are modified. The old seal uses the wrong maroon color (not pantone 505 from what I can tell). The new seal was provided with all the official colors in place. The new seal matches the resolution of the old, and is only reduced in size (i.e., modified) from the original provided.
Let me know, because I think the color seal looks much more professional and complete.
Also, great work keeping up with the A&M page.
