Embarassing, but thanks!
for this. It was a new script, and I honestly thought that "test" was an edit-summary on my page—not the page test itself. Unbelievable! Way to look like an arsheole, eh :) lucky you noticed; I've only just seen it in my contribs. No more script testing for me then. Thanks again and take care! ——SerialNumber54129 11:04, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
ArbCom 2019 special circular
Administrators must secure their accounts
The Arbitration Committee may require a new RfA if your account is compromised.

Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular)
ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.
Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.
We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.
For the Arbitration Committee, -Cameron11598 21:03, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Brother Ray
Is literally the title of Ray Charles' autobiography. It is certainly an appropriate disambiguation link from Brother Ray and is mentioned in the second sentence of the article. Cheers Polyamorph (talk) 10:44, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
The file File:Russell Alexander Alger.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 12 May 2019 (UTC)

Burra Voe disambiguation page
Hi there, I saw you did some formatting on this page with the edit summary "strictly an unnecessary twodab". I've never created a disambiguation page before, but I just wanted to clarify this, as I read the relevant help sections. Since there is no primary topic, is it correct to have a disambiguation page rather than a hatnote? Can you confirm this is right; if not, then I will make the necessary changes. Thanks very much for your help, and enjoy your day - OliverEastwood (talk) 07:09, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
- User:OliverEastwood, considering there is a difference in spelling I think the current titles are OK. Both are prominently mentioned and linked in the other article, so there isn't even any need for hatnotes. As such, the disambiguation page isn't strictly necessary, but is mostly harmless. older ≠ wiser 10:46, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi
Piped links are not permitted - please read Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts

- User:Cowdy001, Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts is an abbreviated synopsis of WP:MOSDAB. Piped section links appearing in an entry's description are suggested by MOS:DABPIPING. older ≠ wiser 13:07, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
Nonet
Nonet is not a viable disambiguation page because most of the content does not refer on to relevant articles. Furthermore we need it as an article in dealing with the problem of Category:Articles about multiple people. I would be obliged if you could revert your edit for the time being. Rathfelder (talk) 19:27, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't agree that it is not a viable disambiguation page. Most of the content does in fact lead to relevant articles. And I have no idea what you mean by the "the problem of Category:Articles about multiple people". That seems entirely irrelevant to the purposes of disambiguation. older ≠ wiser 19:58, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- (watching): I think the dab page is fine, but wonder if Nonet could also be the nine musicians playing a music for nine people, - as quartet can be the music and the ensemble of musicians. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:00, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
TSA
What exactly is your point? Are you challenging that TSA is an abbreviation for Tax Sheltered Annuity? Banana Republic (talk) 16:37, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- The linked article needs to support the claimed usage. Disambiguation pages are not the place to assert facts not in evidence on the linked articles. older ≠ wiser 16:45, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not following you. The referenced article says
403(b) plans are also referred to as a tax-sheltered annuity
, and it gives this reference which clearly say that 403(b) are Tax-Sheltered Annuities and it explicitly uses the abbreviation (TSA). Banana Republic (talk) 16:52, 24 May 2019 (UTC)- The article linked to on the disambiguation page makes no mention of anything on that page being known as TSA. older ≠ wiser 16:59, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- So now that it does you're cool? Banana Republic (talk) 17:03, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Assuming the edit stays in the article, that is OK. older ≠ wiser 17:11, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

Did you mean to...
restore that bit of graffiti? Note that the 'artist' had reverted themselves, and you reverted the revert, not the original bad edit. Shenme (talk) 17:19, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- No, good catch. Thanks. older ≠ wiser 17:27, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Ice separation
Re this edit summary. I had separated it because it was featured in the hatnote at Ice and because a comment in the previous version of the page had suggested that the science section be at the top as primary. But I've no problem with it being in the list normally either. -- JHunterJ (talk) 17:36, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
- User:JHunterJ, Ok I just thought it might have been overlooked. But it seems an odd thing to mention in the hatnote at ice. There are other uses that are as common or more so that aren't given such prominence. older ≠ wiser 17:47, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
Trillion
Hello! What is wrong with my version? I made the page Trillion the same way as Billion. --Grenck (talk) 14:27, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- You did a cut and paste move of the disambiguation. See WP:RM for instructions about properly moving the content from Trillion to Trillian (disambiguation) (as well as the associated talk page). older ≠ wiser 16:33, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
Iron loss
Regarding Nothing linked article suggests synonymy with this term, I was unaware that MOS:DAB required this. Nevertheless, the omission has now been rectified, and I hope this meets your concerns. As you seem more familiar than myself with MOS:DAB, perhaps you would be kind enough to fix it so that a reader looking for iron loss finds the (section of the) appropriate page. Thanks catslash (talk) 22:59, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Given the absence of any further objections, I take it that you are content, and I shall restore iron loss to a DAB page. Regards, catslash (talk) 21:28, 5 June 2019 (UTC)

Just keep a more careful eye on changes done to articles please. Namely this one which was completely trolled, but you missed it. Thank you. Eastfarthingan (talk) 19:54, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
Wojciech Waleczek
Hi. Could you please help me to move an userspace draft about an award-winning composer into article space? The draft is about Wojciech Waleczek—a succesful pianist from Poland whose numerous achievements deserve to be celebrated with his own Wikipedia page. He took 3rd prize at the Premio Mario Zanfi competition and was the absolute winner of the 4th Franz Liszt National Piano Competition—to name just a few of his accomplishments. Mr Waleczek already has his articles on German and Polish Wikipedia. Hope to hear back from you. Regards, AngelOfDestiny (talk) 14:43, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
Tesla dab
HI, saw you removed my addition to the Tesla page; OK! I didn't realize at the time an existing article was a criterion for inclusion, but of course it makes sense on a dab page. I will keep an eye on this novel, which might become a minor cult hit, to see if it gains enough good cites for an article. Not much so far, but personally I'm thoroughly enjoying its very lowbrow humour! Thank you for straightening me out, I had a feeling I was doing something not quite right. --D Anthony Patriarche (talk) 00:11, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
No thank you
You're a typical Wikipedia admin. You constantly rollback other's changes, over and over again. You don't care about other users. You have no self-doubts. You're incapable of compromise. Wikipedia community is poisoned by people like you. I'm editing Wikipedia articles for 12 years and because of people like you I don't want to continue. I believe admins like you shall be stripped off the privileges and banned for life. The problem is within you. Think about it. Don't have a good day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abatishchev (talk • contribs) 21:50, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
Osmium (disambiguation)
Links in content just links to article that relate to library, could you please advice what should I do?, or just leave as it is thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chkob (talk • contribs) 11:35, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) @Chkob: You could add some sourced content to the article OpenStreetMap to describe the Osmium software, or create a sourced article Osmium (software). With either of these in place, you could then re-add the software to Osmium (disambiguation). PamD 11:50, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
