Yuvan Mahadev was born on May 16, 2008, in India. He relocated to the United Kingdom during his childhood and grew up in Stockport. During his teenage years, he discovered hip-hop through GCSE music lessons. Despite leaving formal music education, he pursued his passion for music independently.

Yuvan began his music career in 2024 with the release of his debut single, *Penguin*, distributed through DistroKid. The song explores themes of self-discovery and artistic experimentation. He later released two additional tracks, *Let’s Cry* and *Baby Do I Wanna Live*, which are available on YouTube.

Initially inspired by the experimental style of Tyler, the Creator’s *Igor*, Yuvan transitioned to a more introspective approach influenced by Kendrick Lamar. His music emphasizes layered metaphors, storytelling, and real-life experiences.

Yuvan produces his music independently using tools such as FL Studio, Reaper, and BandLab. He aims to become a self-sufficient artist, handling writing, production, mixing, and mastering of his work.
