Request reason:
Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 2605:3E80:0:0:0:0:0:0/32. I checked my current IP address on "The Spamhouse Project", as described in your own policy somewhere, but this was inconclusive since it described mine as a so-called "CIDR", which means that in this case it's about a range block rather than a single IP. I've never had any problem editing with whatever IP before, so what to do, please? Extremely sexy (talk) 01:48, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The first IP address range is a confirmed proxy, as is the second IP address you gave us. You are definitely using proxies and will need to disable them if you wish to edit here. Exactly how you do so is, unfortunately, up to you to determine. We can't provide technical support for your computer/network setup. Yamla (talk) 12:11, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Well: I just checked all my browsers in order to verify whether they are using a proxy currently, and they are not in fact, but still this IP range comes up when I try do determine which IP it is, so it's a big problem for me. Extremely sexy (talk) 12:45, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- Courtesy links for the reviewing admin: Blocklist, whois (Shows micfo as the owner of the /32 range), IPCheck. This range absolutely appears to be a webhost to me. This is very often caused by attempting to edit while using a VPN, an open proxy, or anonymizing software. SQLQuery me! 03:49, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- I had to restart my desktop computer for not having any connection at all anymore, and now it says my IP is 2605:3E80:700:10:0:0:0:1A4F, but I'm still having the same problem (and I'm definitely not using a "VPN" or other anonymizing stuff, so how can I close this open proxy, if that's at all possible that is (it should be, since it's there all of u sudden!)? - Update: I uninstalled some program, and now I've got a normal IP luckily! Extremely sexy (talk) 13:06, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
