Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page ARO 24 Series has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.flickr.com/photos/32308600@N00/sets/72157625416855020/detail/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:43, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is your problem with a published wikipedia policy?

[edit]

WP:OVERLINK clearly states that it is not necessary to link to geographical features such as countries. Why do you think that unlinking is abusive editing? Please don't get into a silly edit war over something that is part of Wikipedia policy. --Biker Biker (talk) 10:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Ahmed bin Ali stadium capture.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ahmed bin Ali stadium capture.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Gump Stump (talk) 18:54, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Boris Keča has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thanks for uploading File:Bozuyukspor.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Re: Gaz Metan Medias

[edit]

First of all, I only updated the teams; the coefficient changes were done by User:Chanheigeorge since I feel myself a little bit unfamiliar with the seeding of teams in general. However, the "seeded team" status for Gaz Metan is not an error. If a team has not earned any points in the UEFA team ranking, a generic coefficient generated for the respective country of the team in question will be applied. This means for GM that they will be ranked by the Romanian coefficient, which is 5.164 at the moment. Hope this helps.

By the way – are there any updates regarding the 2011–12 leagues of Poli and Gloria Bistrita and/or the number of teams in the 2011–12 Liga I? I have a gut feeling that we might see some chaos à la Finland, who had to delay the start of their league earlier this year after two clubs were successively expelled for various reasons. Cheers, Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 21:01, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will yield on this, but I will say that it is petty. Romanian articles have a certain style, Serbian articles have a certain style (with a daft image included), etc, etc. Whatever happened to plain, un-bolded, un-italicised text... Argyle 4 Lifetalk 12:26, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nissan Micra

[edit]

Hi, i undid your revision on Nissan Micra because i found it unhelpful to get rid of the other more likely comparisons. No-one looking for the medical compensation act (or whatever it's called) is going to search in Nissan Micra and people looking in Nissan Micra may want to see the Micra Challenge. It's that reason i undid your revision as the old wording works best for everyone. Thanks Jenova20 08:38, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i disagree with sticking both safety tests together only because they are for different models. It's a difficult one because i do like the look of what you have done, but on the other hand they're no longer in the right sections. What's your opinion? Thanks Jenova20 09:05, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not particularly keen on the look without the table. Seems out of shape and less neat and in line. I'm not sure what you meant about the captions and pictures though. I struggle to learn that kind of thing. I'm waiting for consensus at the auto club talk page anyway so i'm holding fire on more tables until they respond with a policy or something. Thanks Jenova20 10:21, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the recent change but please don't keep changing them while the discussion is going on. why did you do this (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_Fenerbahce_S.K._foreign_players&diff=454282711&oldid=454272693)? Renault Twingo

[edit]
As far as I see, there is no Wikipedia convention on this matter. But definitely there is in global economics. Stating this car has been produced till 2007 doesn´t show real production, and when you want to show, for instance, how many cars has been built (for historical purpose, i.e. to show the importance of this car) you can´t. Star/end dates must show that. It would be convenient to follow this concept because it is the one used for all manufactures. It can be shown dates for countries, but when we talk about "production" (as in titles) the dates show general production. Mr OSX statement (WikiProject Automobiles) shows the old concept and it is valid when the car is produced in one country (i.e. Aston Martin): today large and international car companies move their production lines at convenience. Citroen C4 sedan started in China, then it was manufactured in South America, and later sold in Europe (Spain) and Amarok (VW) started production in South America to be exported worldwide, and it is planned to be made in Germany in future. You can see the update I wrote about this matter in WikiProject Automobiles. I think that it would be better to follow new concepts because the old concept (country of origin production) is not following the current industry standard. So, I respect your point of view, but I´d like you consider this one. Thanks William Barclay (talk) 14:58, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Anchors

[edit]

I wish you were right. However, when the anchor is placed within the section header, linking to the anchor brings the screen to the line beneath the header - unlike the result of clicking the "proper" section link in the TOC, which allows one to read the header. Try it for yourself, comparing Suzuki_Jimny#Samurai and then Suzuki_Jimny#SJ413.2FSamurai. I hope you see the difference but will await your response before re-repairing the anchor. Renault Trucks

[edit]

I think that while most of my design could be forgotten, something should be done with the Renault Trucks issue. Currently, there is not a link to that company, which is not part of Renault. The template design also is very misleading as it seems that the same company makes trucks, vans and cars. Renault only hold shares from Renault Trucks (actually, from Volvo), but also has Nissan and Daimler shares, and we do not consider that these two companies can be covered by the link to Renault. Maybe it's time to create a specific template for Renault Trucks. Urbanoc (talk) 15:22, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Alfa article changes

[edit]

Hi, now when you started doing pointless? changes, could you do also rest of the Alfa articles to the same style (164, 155 and if there is more)? The point is that all could use same style in infoboxes. Also you could use italics as the convention says "the engine name/code in italics" thanks -->Typ932 T·C 15:30, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Italic writing is in the convention WP:WPAC, the convention is there for reason, and the reason is that we try to make all articles to have similar look. And yes all the new Alfa infoboxes were made using similar style like Petrol engine: >Diesel engines: and so on. So now the 155 and 164 article need also to be fixe , I said pointless because there was nothing wrong on those that you edited. -->Typ932 T·C 16:18, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just fix the rest of Alfa articles like 155 and 164, because they are not anymore similar than those other Alfa boxes you changed. If you start something you should do all the job, Its not my job to fix your changes. If you look some other car infoboxes there is very much different styles, but usually same brand uses similar styling. I you dont fix those Ill revert others to similar state they were -->Typ932 T·C 17:05, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
yes you did not ask to edit, but when you messed those they needed to be fixed, you messed italics and some other thing aswell, you are the one who should take a hint (about friendlier tone and about the co-operation in wikipedia). -->Typ932 T·C 17:54, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
you made it again, by changing engine table colors, all alfa articles used same coloring, but not anymore -->Typ932 T·C 18:41, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
you are very soon 3RR violation, why you keep destroying these articles? I dont understand. There is nothing wrong with these but you keep spoiling them. If you want to make them better do it properly. -->Typ932 T·C 20:07, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Could you stop this silly editing you are making, you make more harm than good, first you spoiled infoboxes, messed some data there also, then you messed engine table colors and units. -->Typ932 T·C 20:18, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
These are not insults, but do you know how much time these editings have took??, and now you are "destroying" this job by making different boxes , tables to articles which have been made so that they would be similar in style wise, also same time you are making these changes, you introduce also some mistakes/errors/not in convention stuff to articles, so if you edit , edit ALL articles to same style and avoid mistakes and double check you edits . I dont want to follow all your edits and fix those all day long, thanks -->Typ932 T·C 20:39, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Golf VII

[edit]

Sorry, I don't understand your objection to the alternative name for the Volkswagen Golf Mk7. "Golf VII" is a common way to refer to this variant outside of the UK (and by VW themselves - see here) and so is worth mentioning, even in passing, in the article. As for Typ numbers, they're also worth mentioning, but aren't really essential to have in the article lead. Regards, Letdorf (talk) 21:28, 22 November 2012 (UTC).[reply]

Lada

[edit]

If you have followed the discussion about Lada ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Automobiles#Lada_Riva) you would have been noticed the duscussion about Lada article names, its just waiting someone to edit the articles. The name Riva or 1200 etc arent used globally and are not in line with WP:Cars guidance. Also when you edit would be nice if you would add some explanation why you changing something. -->Typ932 T·C 13:40, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you understand we cant use Lada model names, because there isnt such Lada model names we can use, its not that hard to understand, the VAZ numbers are the best we can get. We cant use 1200 or Riva because those are used only in handful of countries, did you actually read what was said in the earlier discussion? -->Typ932 T·C 16:52, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Renault car timeline template

[edit]

Hi there BaboneCar.

You reverted my recent-ish edit of template:Renault vehicles timeline 1980 to date. While I would like to apologise for the the somewhat cavalier nature of my edit summaries (it seems rather easy to get carried away with these things), and appreciate that I should have checked with the rules before I changed the links as I did (I'm pretty new here), I still believe that the vehicle classifications of the template could be improved upon, and would much like to discuss my justification of the changes I previously made with you. They're on the article's talk page.

Hey BaboneCar

I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).

So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.

What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.

The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

Infobox engines appear duplicated

[edit]

Hey BaboneCar, can i ask why you removed the information differentiating the different engines from the Citroen C3 Picasso infobox? It was far from excessive and is now showing 3 engines with the exact same description. WP:WPAC doesn't appear to recommend doing this or rewriting it at all from what I can see. This is less informative now so do you have a suggestion or compromise? Thanks Jenova20 (email) 10:44, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

September 2013

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chivas USA. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:34, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Hi! Some users have been working hard on Category:Pages with broken reference names.

Here you added a new reference tour but didn't define it. This has been showing as an error at the bottom of the article. "Cite error: The named reference REFNAME was invoked but never defined (see the help page)." Can you take a look and work out what you were trying to do? Automobile Dacia

[edit]

Hi. I write you to inform I undid your recents edits in the article because there is an ongoing discussion related to the nature of the cars sold with the Dacia badge in Europe. I consider, following most of the sources, that the cars not represent Dacia worldwide, they're part of Renault group 's entry range which includes Dacia and the low-cost Renault cars outside the Dacia market. You can add your posture in the article talk page before re-add the info if you plan to do it. Regards. Urbanoc (talk) 13:33, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Motorway map

[edit]

I see that you are taking care of updating File:Romania Motorways DE.svg. I think the best would be to have the 2020 plan as the main layout of the map since the ones after that are a bit overly-ambitious. Also, I think the map would be more useful if the planned category would be split into the really planed ones, and the ones where there is an actual contract/auction under consideration/discussion (i.e. who knows when are the remaining planned ones actually going to be built). If you get to do that, perhaps the planned highways should have a different label (either half as thin, or dashed). Nergaal (talk) 16:34, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That would mean remove the Tg Mures-Tg Neamt, Oradea-Arad, TM-border, Lugoj-Calafat, Craiova-Alexandria, Pascani-border, B-Giurgiu, and add Buzau-GL. I think you should leave Tg Mures-BV (A1) and Cta-border (A4) as thin lines. Nergaal (talk) 16:40, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Digi Sport (Romania) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. samtar {t} 16:56, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Renault Kaptur/Renault Captur

[edit]

I added citation needed to the claim the Captur is manufactured at Renault's Russian facilities. The problem I see is that Renault says, through its blog and media releases, that the Kaptur is a "new" car, clearly intentionally. Looks and equipment are similar to those of the old Captur, but Renault didn't say they share the same platform. They don't mention they share some kind of relation. It's all very unclear. If we actually consider the Kaptur as the same car as the Captur, we need to add all-wheel transmission in the infobox, as that's the new model selling point. The article 2011–12 Moldovan "A" Division has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Violates WP:NSEASONS and WP:NOTDIR. All league season pages are being PROD as per discussion at Help Desk

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Italy–Romania relations, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Flying Bulls requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Notice

The file File:Ro-90baza.gif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Extra EA-300; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. BilCat (talk) 20:06, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Brasov Airport

[edit]

Hi.. thanks for your message earlier today. I assume you have a particular interest in Brasov airport - and I would like to thank you for all your efforts. The only thing is that some of it is starting to read a bit like an advertisement. If there is definite information it should absolutely go on the wikipage. However, some of the text seems more in hope of something happening instead of giving information on something that has or definitely will happen. As an example, an airline having a discussion by phone with an airport about maybe opening a route is very different from an airline selling tickets with a clear start date - one has (almost) zero cost and zero risk with almost no consequence, the other is important and of much greater interest to many people. I know that for the people living near Brasov and also for Romania, the first significant airport opening in many years is a major event - but we still need to separate what is notable from what is not. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
