Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article John Wooden, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hey Thanks

[edit]

Yeah, so I'm pretty new when it comes to editing this site and I'm not sure how to work the mechanics of it. Could you help me out? The source I found was a Washington Post article. The top link on google news after searching his name: http://news.google.com/news/story?q=john+wooden&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ncl=dJ7tvJOP5e9DQtMR9wDHGq-kpG87M&hl=en&ei=BlcITNrwG4KCNtDN5LUE&sa=X&oi=news_result&ct=more-results&resnum=1&ved=0CCQQqgIwAA How would I go about citing that?

Your help is appreciated, thanks,

The problem I see with the W.Post is that only the title say that, the entire article talk about his life but nothing about his death. Either way the article is fully protected, but the template {{editprotected}} can be used at the talkpage. TbhotchTalk C. 01:39, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
