Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Religion in Kosovo, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 21:26, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An extended welcome

[edit]

Hi ArbDardh. Welcome to Wikipedia. I've added a welcome message to the top of this page that gives a great deal of information about Wikipedia. I hope you find it useful.

Additionally, I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 23:48, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ahtisaari Plan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KFOR (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:13, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Albanian Alps ?

[edit]

Did you learn where Alps are situated ? I dont know for Albanian schools, but there are no Albaninan Alps.--PetarM (talk) 10:50, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The ‘Albanian Alps’ is another name for the Prokletije mountain chain. It has no connection to the Swiss Alps. ArbDardh (talk) 15:18, 23 September 2019 (UTC)ArbDardh[reply]

Karađorđe

[edit]

I saw your post which is stating that Karađorđe had Kelemendi roots and I just wanted to feed you the information that his haplogroup was I2a-CTS10228, which is hardcore Slavic and carried by vast majority of Serbs (close to 40%)(https://www.novosti.rs/%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8/%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%81%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BD%D0%B0/%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%B6%D0%B5.409.html:703913-U-Srbima-zive-Sloveni-Kelti-Goti-i-Normani). Kelemendi are not associated with this haplogroup, as far as I know. I hope that this information will help you. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 14:05, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I may have abandoned that theory now. But a quick scan at Origins of the Albanians does show that 14.5% of Albanians carry I M423 I2a1. Again, this may be completely different for the Kelmendi. Don't be so alarmed by some comment. ArbDardh (talk) 16:57, 3 May 2020 (UTC)ArbDardh[reply]

Heb's moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Heb's. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. JML1148 (talk | contribs) 06:29, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd just like to explain my reasoning behind the draftification. Social media does not establish notability because it is not independent of the subject. You may want to read WP:SIGCOV. However, the architectural awards won by the company could provide some sources. Perhaps look into that? JML1148 (talk | contribs) 06:31, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Replying to @JML1148: First of all, thank you for looking out as a fellow Wikipedian, and I appreciate your input and appropriate relocation of the page to draftspace. In regard to the architectural websites as sources themselves, I have managed to find one each for each of the three which at least feature the company (Archdaily at https://www.archdaily.com/944043/hebs-restaurant-maden-group, Archello at https://archello.com/project/hebs-teen, G&G Italia at https://www.gandgmagazine.eu/playful-mood). In total, this would therefore give me 4 independent sources (with telegrafi.com) on the company apart from the company itself, or 5 if you include OCM International's post on Facebook. Two more separate articles are also available from GazetaBlic (https://gazetablic.com/ndalesa-me-e-shijshme-rruges-per-ne-shqiperi3325625/) and Kallxo (https://kallxo.com/artikull-i-sponsoruar/ndizet-mitrovica-dicka-e-re-po-vjen-neser-ne-zemer-te-qytetit/), but these two are stubs on specific outlet openings and do not provide any important information that I have not already included in the draft page. Apart from these, there do not discernibly seem to be any other sources on the company, so would adding the 3 architectural sources suffice, or should I wait around until some others crop up? ArbDardh (talk) 07:07, 3 October 2023 (UTC)ArbDardh[reply]
As a side note, could you also briefly delete the disambiguation page I had set up at Hebs, if you can? For now it should indeed just redirect to NHS Health Scotland as it did before I created the original article. ArbDardh (talk) 08:06, 3 October 2023 (UTC)ArbDardh[reply]
