Guidance
[edit]Hi Apelcini, I am assuming you are a family member or otherwise connected to Elizabeth Roberts so first let me express my sincere condolences for your loss. I am sure the decline seems (or perhaps is) harsh. Unfortunately, these type of events are not rare in our society so from a Wikipedia standpoint they need to garner large regional if not national attention over an extended period of time in order to warrant an article. I see you were able to cite at least local sources that dated back into the 90s. Are there state-wide (or similar) articles over the decades? Note, sources do not need to be available on-line. As long as enough information about the source is provided that anyone should be able to find it, even if that means going to library that is sufficient (ex. name of publication, date, etc.) that will be sufficient. As a matter of "paperwork", if you are affiliated with Roberts or the case, you do need to declare your conflict of interest (read the guideline}. If have questions or need help, you can ask at the Teahouse. You can also respond here but I am likely the only person that will see you response and I will not be able to respond for another week (we are all volunteers here). [edit]The article is good but it needs some more sources before it can be published. I tidied up some stuff but each sentence needs a citation. Take a look at similar articles in this list to use as an outline: List of formerly unidentified decedents, 2020–2029. Inexpiable (talk) 18:45, 25 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Apelcini! I'm helena, I would like if you could make the wiki information and details about the murder of tina and dean clouse who were previously known for a long time as "Harris County Does"? 138.121.114.154 (talk) 19:16, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Helena! I hadn't heard of this story before, but I'd be happy to take it on, and I should be able to take this on in balance with my other projects. I'm honored that you want me to write this, and I will make sure I keep working on it, but I'm very busy with student obligations and another draft I'm already working on, so it may take a few weeks or more to complete a draft. Disambiguation link notification for July 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Suicide attacks in the North Caucasus conflict, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Riyadus-Salikhin. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

DNA Doe Project
[edit]I have again reverted your addition of multiple red links to the same non-existent article at DNA Doe Project. Adding 11(!) red links to an article that doesn't even exist on Wikipedia does nothing to improve our readers' comprehension of the topic. Per WP:BRD, as your edit is disputed, please get consensus for your change via the talk page prior to restoring the unnecessary links.-- Ponyobons mots 23:44, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry. I was editing on the mobile app, it made it harder to tell that my changes had been reverted instead of just not saved. I totally understand why you reverted it Apelcini (talk) 16:47, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Your Draft:List of forensic reconstructions by Carl Koppelman got declined. Please respond. It doesn't have enough reliable sources and some reconstructions are missing. #bodyContent aFlag Creator { background-color: #ffa500; color: #ggggggg; font-weight: monoscope; } 05:59, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- That's odd, I never submitted the draft because of the very fact that it was unfinished. Honestly, I thought it was on the verge of deletion for inactivity. I absolutely do not think that this draft is in any state to be put in the mainspace, and would never intentionally submit it for review in this state. Please respond back to me as I would like to figure out how it got submitted and how to prevent this from happening again. Apelcini (talk) 02:41, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- You can edit. I fixed some names and added some reconstructions. #bodyContent aFlag Creator { background-color: #ffa500; color: #ggggggg; font-weight: monoscope; } 20:43, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- Actually, it's kind of useful. Look, when people search these on wikimedia, they get random images of something. But this helps them see it clearly and since there are so many reconstructions, it will be hard to find all of them. So, you have to keep it active. I never fund any reconstructions of 2006 Philly Football and Kenneth Ecker and Pompano Beach Jane Doe. #bodyContent aFlag Creator { background-color: #ffa500; color: #ggggggg; font-weight: monoscope; } 09:43, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you attempted to improve a page's short description. Short descriptions serve a specific purpose on Wikipedia. They are not definitions of an article's topic, and should not simply repeat the information contained in the article's title. Additionally, many articles intentionally have no short description when the article title is considered to be sufficient. If you have further questions, feel free to consult Wikipedia's information page regarding short descriptions, or leave a message on my talk page.
