Hey Amotias,
I have been trying to put importScript('User:Lupin/recent2.js'); on my userpage, I'm not sure how to do it and obviously messed up last time due to the speedy deletion tag you left on my talk page, just wondering if you would be so kind as to show me how to put this on correctly. Best Regards.Hot Pork Pie (talk) 19:52, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, first things first youll need to create a page call User:Hot Pork Pie/Common.js or go to that page if it already exists. Edit that page and put 'importScript('User:Lupin/recent2.js');
- without the ' at the start. Save and you should be done. Amortias (T)(C) 19:57, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

YaCy Edit
Hello Amortias,
I've been doing this all day long because of a competition from Google called as Google Code-In. And I've been really disappointed with this. Can you please undo it until the mentors of that particular task (Google Competition) sees it. At-least can you undo it until I take a screenshot of it and show it to my mentors.
Please!, Please!, Please!

editing UC Berkeley School of Public Health page
Hi Amortias, Yes, I am affiliated with the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. I am the Director of Web and Digital Media for the School. The text on the School's Wikipedia page is very old and inaccurate; in addition, the logo is out of date (I submitted an updated logo today). I am simply trying to delete inaccurate or obsolete information and references and keep the information as current as possible. I have never edited a page on Wikipedia before and find the process less than intuitive.
The School's Wikipedia page is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UC_Berkeley_School_of_Public_Health.
Thanks for your help.
Liz
Hi there. Editing the article is fine but you will need to declare that you are involved with teh university on your userpage so that other editors are aware that you have a potential conflict of interest with the page in question. When adding information to the article you will need to confirm it with reliable sources. You can use the University pages to prove facts but you cant use these to show how its noteable, if there's something external to the University that backs up these facts even better. As there is an inherent conflict of interest you would be better paced making a requested edit on the talk page of the article as this reduces the chance of your edits being reverted as potentially promotional (even if not your intent). You can make these requests by going to the talkpage and clicking the New Section link at the top of the page. On the very first line of the page put the text {{requestededit}} including the {{ }}. below this make the changes you would like made in a change X to Y format. This will alert other users to the requests you wish to have carried out. Updating the logo is fine as there cant be any promotional constraints by updating the logo. Amortias,
Thanks for the info. I have spent more than 8 hours trying to update this page, and my edits are now gone. The time I have to work on this is limited. I would really like the information to be as accurate and updated as possible. The one external reference I have -- a link for for the US News ranking -- doesn't seem to display properly in Wikipedia. The link is http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/search?program=top-public-health-schools&name=&zip=&program_rank=top_10&sort=&sortdir=
The other edits I made were strictly factual and contribute to the accuracy of the page. Thanks for your help. I'll get back to this when I have the time.
Liz

Kevin Gorman desysop
Greetings,
I wanted to note that usually stewards don't act on userrights requests if local users can handle these, and a desysop request can be done by bureaucrats on the bureaucrat noticeboard. That's according to my understanding, anyway.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:30, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah noted, request handled by local 'crat. Amortias (T)(C) 18:34, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
nit picking
Not sure why I'm bothering you, since I suppose it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but just for the sake if i dotting and t crossing: The implementation matrix states that the enforcement remedy passes, but I don't think it does, because almost everyone qualified it with "if he's not desysopped" or "if remedies 2 and 3 pass). Hopefully that provision wasn't going to be part of your AN/ANI/ACN announcement; it would look weird. --Floquenbeam (talk) 17:30, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- No it wasnt, the enforcement of point 4 overrides any of the others and it looks like somone has updated the votes to remove those that were if hes not desysopped. Amortias (T)(C) 17:35, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- This is probably nitpicking too,
but could you please post an 'official request' to implement the desysop at BN?–xenotalk 18:30, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Had been advised to log one to Stewards. Will post to BN shortly. Amortias (T)(C) 18:32, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Scratch that local Bureaucrat has picked up and dealt with. Amortias (T)(C) 18:33, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) No need now, it's been actioned by a local bureaucrat; please note for future that desysops should be carried out locally except in emergencies. –xenotalk 18:34, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Noted, misunderstanding from my end. Has been pointed out a few times already (in the minutes since it was posted). Amortias (T)(C) 18:35, 18 January 2016 (UTC)

Untitled 2017 Star Trek TV series: Supposed "unexplained removal of references"
The removal of references and content in the edit by 204.8.172.136 in Untitled 2017 Star Trek TV series was explained very clearly in the edit summary: Glenn Geller just said that he is not personally involved with it. He never said CBS has no creative involvement. Thus I removed the overinterpretation of his statement and the associated reference.
- Unfortunately they didn't provide anything to confirm this and I couldn't either. If theyd linked ot something that had backed up the change then I'd have left it. Amortias (T)(C) 00:31, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

thank you for moving the Spirit Nest article for me. how do I proceed to post it live once I have completed it?
- When you feel it is ready to go there are two options.
- You can use the move option located under the page option near the edit button to move it.
- You can request it is submitted for review by experienced editors by placing {{susbt:submit}} on the very first line of the page.
- I would advise option 2. Amortias (T)(C) 20:58, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

John H. McMorries Wiki
Hello, I just received notice that the reference to MetroHealth I added to Dr. McMorries page was removed. I added that as City Hospital is now MetroHealth System. The MetroHealth System Wikipedia states that was formerly named City Hospital. I am not sure why my reference was incorrect. Cre8tivediva (talk) 23:29, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Cre8tivediva, unfortunately Wikipedia cant be used to confirm claims. As (almost) anything on Wikipedia can be edited by anyone you would need to link to something more suitable (such as the link used in the MetroHealth article (if there is a link that confirms this) about the change of name. If you can find this link and add it to the page about Dr McMorries this would be sufficient. Amortias (T)(C) 23:41, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
