Recent edit to Gaming computer

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit that introduces praise or promotional language to the Gaming computer article. On Wikipedia, we adhere to a neutral point of view (NPOV) and avoid promotional language or puffery. Please read the NPOV policy page, as well as this page of language to avoid to better understand how to expand this article in a style suitable to an encyclopedia. If you have questions, please see the Help Desk page. Thank you! — Alpha3031 (talk | contribs) 07:48, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for correcting me. I have edited the article again. Hope it meets the policy.

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Mean as custard (talk) 08:00, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:SuggestPhone, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Amankhurana9012. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 08:11, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. I realy do not care if you block me. I have no external relationship with the company. But onviously if you block the links, wiki users will surely have some dearth of knowledge wrt to what I saw suggestphone.com offering. Rest is your wish.

Also i do not understand why your policy are not same for everyone. No one replied to me about the Techradar query I raised. On the Gaming Laptop page, the 30th refernece of laptopspark does not really add any more info but yead it is there on the page lying from ages. I tried to put some of the best links as a user I found.

It was because of Snapdragon 710 when I reached their website. But it is all upto you what you want to do. Let the information be there or not. But please keep the policies same for everyone and do make a second check before warning anyone. Good bye. Thanks.

I would be grateful if you can share why the Techradar page is existing on wiki and why the laptopspark page link(ref 30) on the Gaming laptops page exisitng.

Please see WP:OSE. Each page is judged on its own merits. If you feel a page is not appropriate for some reason, you are free to post your concerns to its talk page, or suggest it for deletion. This is a volunteer project, where people do what they can when they can, and as such inappropriate content can get through. 331dot (talk) 09:50, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So have you taken care to review the pages that I reported?

My time is limited and I cannot at present. I have stated what you can do in the interim. 331dot (talk) 12:35, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
