Wikipedia needs pictures. How you can help...

Wikipedia always needs free images! If you have a collection of photos you have taken, consider articles that might benefit from any of them. If you have a camera, look for important subjects in your area. Maybe you can fulfill a picture request. If you are an artist or a photographer, consider joining the WikiProject Illustration to collaborate with others. Please upload any public domain images of interest you have (see Wikipedia:Public domain resources) but try to keep fair use images to a minimum per the guidelines.

Personal attack

[edit]

Hello. You deleted the last messages on your talk page, which leaves no avenue for warnings. But your very last answer while deleting - "The genius himself sends me a warning" - can be classified as a violation of Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Bailer99 (talk) 22:01, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at User talk:Alsho093, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Principality of Abkhazia, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 22:02, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Vif12vf. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasus, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 19:35, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your interactions with Bailer99 (message from mentor)

[edit]

In regards to your interactions with Bailer99:

  1. "Removing nonsense" is "incivil;" so is calling someones message "rubbish." Think about how you would feel if someone said your talk page messages were "nonsense" or "rubbish." Saying things like that will only escalate the situation.
  2. Everyone can give you a warning so long as it's based on behavior that's actually happening. For example, if they think you're editing warring, they can warn you about it. Whether or not they are an administrator is irrelevant.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Misimians, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Georgian and Svan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:05, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Principality of Abkhazia. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 01:58, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:The Ottoman Archive about Abasia.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The Ottoman Archive about Abasia.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 10:30, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
