Orphaned non-free image File:Tekken 8 cover art.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Tekken 8 cover art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:36, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Chun_Wah_Kong

[edit]

Dear Sir,

I hope this message finds you well. (I think I've been posting in the wrong section previously)

Since your previous feedback on the creation of this page, I have added several sources and details on the subject.

I have also found and linked digital files from archive databases where previously only names of the books/ magazines citations were provided. I'm sure having access to read and review the articles would offer a more informed judgment on the notability of the subject that was missing from the previous submissions.

I posted on Help Desk and I was advised to contact you this way. Your help on getting this creator of many classic retro games approved on Wikipedia would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards. Celebrate Muru (talk) 09:20, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Celebrate Muru: - GamesTM seems to provide an in-depth coverage of the person. However, the rest of the sources are mostly about the games he worked on instead of specifically about him. OceanHok (talk) 11:22, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply. I'll try and find a few more in that format. I'm sure they exist, I just need to find them. Is there a set number I need to aim for, and do you think the article is still very far away from being approved? Thank you. Celebrate Muru (talk) 13:34, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think you need at least 3-5 sources to establish notability. They must be WP:SIGCOV and not merely passing mention. OceanHok (talk) 15:19, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Assassin's Creed Shadows has an RfC for possible consensus. A discussion is taking place. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments on the discussion page. Thank you.Xslyq (talk) 08:45, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Vince Zampella

[edit]

Vince Zampella has been deleted G6. Please proceed with accepting the draft. -- Whpq (talk) 13:44, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

After you made this reversion, the IP manually reverted you. I'm not familiar with the source, myself. Can you explain why you consider it unreliable? Thanks. Grandpallama (talk) 23:13, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deathloop

[edit]

Hi OceanHok, I've now finished my copy-edit. I went to check one source (no. 84), this citation reads:

Hughes, William (14 September 2021). "We're not mad at Deathloop—just a little disappointed". A.V. Club. Archived from the original on 22 March 2023. Retrieved 15 August 2024.

but the URL points to a Washington Post article. I can't find the correct citation in the article so I have marked both uses of this source [failed verification]. You can find notes in my edit summaries. I haven't checked old revisions. Checks on other citations in this article may be needed, though this is the only source I felt a need to check during my c/e. Good luck with the article. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:33, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Baffle gab1978: - Thank you very much for your efforts. I have corrected the issue. OceanHok (talk) 03:32, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 04:02, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
