Hi, thank you for your answer. I would like to bring this to your attention: "you age" (instead of "you're"); it seemed right to bring it to your attention. Have a wonderful evening. JacktheBrown (talk) 17:17, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks I've corrected it. I've been having issues with a recent autocorrect update. It has a tendency to change words I've correctly typed with incorrect refurbishments ;). -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 18:47, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On the "grooming gang" moral panic

[edit]

"There has been, and there are, articles about the events. This article was created to summarize sources that discuss the moral panic, but was hijacked and renamed."

You made an excellent point here. Now we should address how Wikipedia, and those articles in particular are complicit in contributing to the moral panic, and take active steps towards correcting the issue and adjusting the articles. 46.97.170.18 (talk) 09:49, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Custom signature

[edit]

Hi ActivelyDisinterested! I noticed that your signature doesn't start with a link to your user page. While this isn't required, it's a good practice in general and it helps some user scripts identify the start of signatures (e.g., for replacement or modification, given how distracting and hard to read some signatures can be). Would you mind updating your signature to start with a link to your user page? For example, you could place the LCU inside the link and style it differently. Thanks! Yes I would, sorry. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 01:57, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
First for everything! I'll try to figure out how to work around this in this user script I've been developing, I guess. I'm sure you can understand trying to keep things less chaotic and more readable. Regards. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 02:31, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hope it's not to much bother. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 12:08, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of wars by death toll

[edit]

Look carefully at the revision history - I think you're editing the old version which is the subject of much edit warring, not the current version. I think this is the version that should be restored and you should be looking at. 10mmsocket (talk) 18:04, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm agnostic to which one is restored, by removing the bad sources hopefully they will stay out however the edit warring resolves. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 18:42, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
