Category:Art by country
Hello. I was trying to organize the Category:Art by country alphabetically by country name, making it so pages like Art of Belgium would appear labelled as B instead of A. I don't understand why that's considered vandalism, I apologize in advance if it goes against any rule of Wikipedia, but I didn't know about it. Thank you. BirdCities (talk) 07:55, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- @BirdCities: "Category:Art by Country|[YOUR LABEL HERE]" is not a valid category, it redirects to "Category:Art by Country", so the label is not necessary. Sorry for marking that as vandalism, I should have handled it in a different way. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 08:02, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- and I have removed the warnings on your talk page. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 08:07, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- No problem. Thanks for the answer, clarification and removing the warnings, I appreciate it. I'll be more careful next time. BirdCities (talk) 08:10, 16 May 2018 (UTC)

Leonardian Change
Hello. I would like to ask, why i can't edit the page "Leonardian". I'm the CEO of the project, we are a new company for digital assets and services. I would like to put some info about the company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Krlozanov (talk • contribs) 11:55, 16 May 2018 (UTC)

Reverted edit to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport
Abelmoschus Esculentus I was just wondering your reason for you reverting my edits to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. I truly believe that having the section with each Terminal would being a new aspect to the page that many other major international airports do have on Wikipedia. Thank you! - @Raine004: I reverted your edit because you added a "== ==" heading to a Use mdy dates template, which is inappropriate. I reverted my edit (that means your edit is preserved) and removed the "== ==" as well. Sorry for marking that as vandalism. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 06:11, 21 May 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:43, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the Help Desk advice
That is, this.
I started to find my way through it only to see that another user is working on the same problem and has warned the perpetrator with appropriate templates. But it was a good learning experience for me.
One thing: I was surprised to see the "Welcome!" message added to my talk page. Was this done automatically, because of my tenth edit or something? Although my contributions are sparse and infrequent, they do go back as far as 2011. Maybe some criteria somewhere should be changed.
Thanks again.

Sometimes I will patrol recent changes, and when I saw new accounts, I will click into their talk page and welcome them using Twinkle. Kingdom Shopping Centre
Hello, I note you reverted recent edits made to the Kingdom Shopping Centre, Glenrothes page. I added the updates and properly sourced them in order to bring the article up to date. By reverting the edits the article is in places factually inaccurate now. I'd be grateful if you could highlight what I might do better if you are unhappy with the changes?

- @Abelmoschus Esculentus: It is to prevent biasedness in the articles. Mandarin Chinese is one of the official languages of Singapore but that does not give it priority over the other 3 official languages, as far as I'm concerned Singapore has 4 equal official languages. It will seems biased to do it for articles in other countries with only a single official language so it does not make a difference for Singapore's articles. The only way around this is to include the translations for all 4 languages or don't put any at all, leaving English, which is considered officially by the government of Singapore as the main working language out of the other 3. A great example will be Switzerland which also has 4 official languages (French, German, Italian and Romansch) which all have equal footing. Most articles relating to Switzerland mostly have articles only written in English, for example, Swissôtel Zürich a similar article compared to the edits that I had done. Thanks. - YouCantStopMeLmao (talk) 11:53, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Rollback mistake
Hey there. I think you made a mistake on one of your rollbacks, and I undid it. You rolled back an undo I did to a vandalism adjustment that included the text: "his parents never wanted a baby they just wanted a job time[" on an article on a person. Thanks. Tialla (talk) 03:14, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

- In this case, he'd added the 'born' himself, to try and mask the spam he was doing (I think that was his third or fourth vandalism today.) I did a straight undo, without any adjustments of my own. :) But no worries. Tialla (talk) 03:21, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

Please don't add unsourced genres
Hi. You added an unsourced genre to Candy Paint (song) when there was a note there stating not to. I often see you reverting IPs for much the same thing. Why did you do this...? Ss112 09:19, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Ss112: Oh sorry when I was searching for the genre I probably misclicked the publish button. I didn't notice that since I have a multiple edit tabs opened in my browser. Thanks for reminding that. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 09:22, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Ss112: It sounds like trap, but there are no sources that actually says it is trap. What do you think? Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 09:26, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- Then we can't add trap to that article, I'm afraid. Also, I'm confused as to how you found my message to Jimmio78 to quote it in your edit summary on Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. Jimmio78 already sourced glam rock to the article, I just asked why he had to do that when I'd removed it already after another editor added it but did not source it, and it seemed like Jimmio went out to find a source to contradict my removal of it. I understand your edit was in good faith, but I'd also prefer my personal message messages to editors not be quoted/linked in edit summaries. Ss112 13:35, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Ss112: Ok noted. I think I should not quote talk page messages and ignore everything inside <!-- --->. My fault. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 13:38, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

Tourism in Russia
Hi, concerning your edits to Tourism in Russia (deleting images in the Transport section). I uploaded the images in question, while being not logged in. I can's see how those images do not contribute to the article. For instance, the image with the letter M sign is useful because people can see what entrances to metro stations in some Russians cities look like. You gave no fact-based explanation. Please refer to specific rules and explain why uploading those images was violation. This article is not just for you, some people might find those images useful and informative. Waiting for your reply. If no valid reasons are given I will revert your edits as ungrounded. Denghu (talk) 11:00, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Denghu: Undone. Misclick of rollback in Huggle. My apologies. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 11:06, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
