Hi, Annie. Please read WP:NOT; that list is an indiscriminate collection of unencyclopedic content that does not belong on Wiki. I'm not so concerned with whatever you want to do with the kids' articles, but Wolff is linked to a template from a featured article, and I prefer to keep it clean and in conformance with Wiki guidelines as possible. Best regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Also, please have a look at WP:OVERLINKing. Words which people who speak English commonly understand do not need to be linked, and a sea of blue is not good in articles. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:35, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Dear SandyGeorgia, Thank you for explaining that to me. ATC (talk) 03:39, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome; and thank you for the thanks :-) Happy editing! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:45, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Dear SandyGeorgia,
I have a question. On the wikitable for the list of Naked Brothers Band episodes, I want to add -- the Writer, Producer, Director, Executive Producer, Music Supervisor/Producer, and Composer (Music Score). I tried adding -- !Writer !Director...etc. in the appropriate spot and previewed it, but it did not work. Can you explain to me how to do so?
ATC (talk) 21:17, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

I won't be able to get to that today, Annie; maybe someone else who follows my talk page will help or I will get to it tomorrow or the next day. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:25, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Annie, I had a look and I don't see an easy or attractive way to do what you want to do. I suggest you browse here for another article that does something similar, and copy from there. Good luck. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:21, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Dear SandyGeorgia, on the episode list of Lost it has that example, but the wikitable is formated completely different. ATC (talk) 03:29, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Here is the link --> List of Lost episodes. ATC (talk) 03:31, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, past my bedtime, I'll look tomorrow. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:54, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Annie, instead of trying to mess around with a table, which is complicated, why not just add this info under the Songs performed in each episode, with a new text line? Then you don't even have to mess around with figuring out a table. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 17:38, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Re: List of The Naked Brothers Band episodes

Hi, I'm afraid this isn't really my area of expertise. It looks like the article makes use of Template:Episode list - hopefully the documentation there will help to answer your question. If not, it might be worth raising it at Template talk:Episode list; I'm sure someone there will be able to advise. Hope this helps, Waggers (talk) 14:10, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Annie, autism is a featured article, one of Wiki's finest and using only the highest quality, peer reviewed sources. You're introducing text that is not supported by such sources; I suggest you carefully discuss any intended edits to that article on the talk page, as the text you are adding will not survive there, because it is not well sourced and belongs in other articles, even if sourced. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:01, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Dear SandyGeogia, I wanted to explain that Early Intervention may not only help gain self-care and social skills, but that you can get completely better from it. The word cure is complicated, people think either it means medically or get completely better from it. That's why I also put medical cure, because it's a development disorder. Through early diagnoses and therapy, they can get out of their private world and start to join ours. But they will still be on the autistic spectrum. If I find a reliable source and ref tag, could I add it on the talk page, and can you help me determine if I could change the wording. ATC (talk) 21:31, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

No, that text has already been ajusted and is dealt with in other articles. Pls have a look at WP:UNDUE. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:34, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

I am forwarding all of this to the talk page. ATC (talk) 21:31, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I will leave the Autism article only. ATC (talk) 22:00, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Question

How come you don't indent in paragraphs on Wiki? AnnieTigerChucky (talk) 22:00, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

We thread/indent discussions on talk pages (see WP:TALK guidelines), but not on articles. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:07, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

It explained only about indenting on Talk Pages, I also wanted know why you don't indent in articles. AnnieTigerChucky (talk) 22:25, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Because articles follow conventional paragraphs as in any formal writing; we only indent discussions to be able to see who said what in what order. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:33, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

listen, a TV movie takes up 2 production codes, and The NBB has 13 episodes produced, not the total. So Season 1 has 11 episodes, and 1 TV movie, Battle of the Bands. Season 2 has 9 episodes, and 2 TV movies. Season 3 im not sure yet.--Wikialexdx (talk) 22:58, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. I posted one as well. Glad we can finally work together on this. JLKTENNIS43 (talk) 03:55, 30 April 2008 (CDT)

After looking in the wrong spot for your comment/question for a while like an idiot, I finally found it. Unfortunately, I do not know the answer. Sorry. I posted it on the discussion page as well. JLKTENNIS43 (talk) 04:51, 4 May 2008 (CDT)

Is it confirmed there will only be 12 episodes for season 2? I saw that edit today and was wondering if you could tell me where you found that information since there has been so much debate over how many episodes there will be. Thanks. JLKTENNIS43 (talk) 01:10, 12 May 2008 (CDT)

You'd be surprised how often the numbers 13, 22, and 26 show up in general as total episodes in seasons depending on the network and type of show. 13 is often used when shows begin in January, which is usually mid-season since "full seasons" generally run from September until May. It gets kind of confusing, but based on the 13 being a very common number when seasons begin in January, NBB seemed to follow that trend. While we're on the subject, why did you think there were going to be 14? Thanks for the source! JLKTENNIS43 (talk) 03:00, 15 May 2008 (EDT)

Book References

Dear SandyGeorgia,
How do you view a Book Reference on Wiki?
I tried doing so. But, the closest think it sent me to was Wiki and then to a store that sells the book.
You are allowed to reference a book, but you can't view the reference until you buy it or am I doing something wrong? Please respond back on my talk page. Thanx! ATC (talk) 21:54, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, Annie, nothing in WP:V requires that our sources be available online; sometimes a trip to the library is actually necessary to verify a source :-) SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:03, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Dear SandyGeorgia,
On the autism article it states that it's a brain development disorder. I thought it was a neurological disorder. Wouldn't it be better to say that, it's a neurological disorder where the cells in your brain is mixed up. Unless did a peer view scientific article state that it's a brain development disorder. And I don't see the difference between neurodevelopmental disorder or neurology (neurological disorder). ATC (talk) 22:06, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Annie, Eubulides has done most of the writing there, and he is scrupulous about sticking to sources; maybe you could raise the question at Talk:Autism ? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:08, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Annie, just so you'll know, both Eubulides and I have the article talk pages watched, so we'll always see posts there; you can save yourelf the time of having to post to the editors' talk page as well, because Eubulides will see your message and most likely get to it as soon as he can. Best regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:20, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Son-Rise and plurals

Re this change: The plural of "Kaufman" is "Kaufmans". It is not "Kaufman's", which would be the possessive form. See, for example, [1], which says 'When a family name (a proper noun) is pluralized, we almost always simply add an "s." So we go to visit the Smiths, the Kennedys, the Grays, etc.' Can you please change "Kaufman's" back to "Kaufmans"? Thanks. Eubulides (talk) 21:40, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia Study

Hi,
I need your help. I am working on a research project at Boston College, studying creation of medical information on Wikipedia. You are being contacted, because you have been identified as an important contributor to one or more articles.

Would you will be willing to answer a few questions about your experience? We've done considerable background research, but we would also like to gather the insight of the actual editors. Details about the project can be found at the user page of the project leader, geraldckane. Survey questions can be found at geraldckane/medsurvey. Your privacy and confidentiality will be strictly protected!

The questions should only take a few minutes. I hope you will be willing to complete the survey, as we do value your insight. Please do not hesitate to contact me or Professor Kane if you have any questions.

Thank You, Sam4bc (talk) 18:59, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi ATC. Thanks for your question. The survey of medical information on WP is precisely because it is becoming a more popular source of medical information for patients around the world. Little is known about the quality of this medical information (or, more importantly, how high and low quality articles differ). Although we are doing a broad survey, we are also focusing on certain articles (e.g. Autism). :Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions. I appreciate your time.geraldckane (talk) 17:38, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about the delay in responding. I'm much quicker if you post a response on user_talk:Geraldckane
I'd be very happy about any insight you'd be able to offer regarding my study. We are carefully studying several articles you are interested in, including Autism, Bipolar disorder, and Alzheimer's. I am also conducting a social network study on the collaboration patterns among editors. Very interesting. Feel free to drop me an email as well. geraldckane (talk) 15:30, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
