Helen Bauer moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Helen Bauer, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - Hi, I came across this when doing new page patrolling, and had to move it to drafts because the sources are not enough to establish notability. Per the notability guideline (GNG), we need to see significant coverage in multiple independent and reliable secondary sources. Most of the sources cited aren't secondary, and the few that are, are either interviews or passing mentions. In fact, I would go so far as to say that none of them meets the GNG standard. Please add more and better sources, and once you feel the draft is ready to be published, you can submit it for pre-publication review by clicking that blue 'submit' button. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:28, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- PS: I also noticed that the Copyvio Detector reports significant similarity between the article and a couple of the sources. I had a look, and I don't think it's enough of a reason to have this speedily deleted as a copyright infringement, but I would ask that you rewrite the offending content (which you can see by visiting the detector results linked to above) in your own words. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:34, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
Hi, thank you for message and feedback, it is very helpful. I am new to the Wikipedia editing community so still trying to learn all the guidelines so that is very helpful. Thank you and apologies for my errors ANFG22 (talk) 15:25, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- No problem, and no need to apologise. The move to drafts was a protective measure, really, because the alternative would have been to delete, and once an article is deleted it can be more difficult to get it published again. In the draft space it's safe while you work on it. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:33, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Helen Bauer
[edit]Hello, ANFG22. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Helen Bauer".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted.
