Unblock Request, or Block Reason Update
[edit]86.187.161.177 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am a customer of BT Wi-fi, and the entire ISP has been blocked due to vandalism by "Kingo7672". The previous block was on 86.187.160.0/20 and expires in 5 days. I now discover that the sub-range 86.187.160.0/21 is also blocked, for three months, and with *no reason given*. I've already been told that the first block won't be lifted regardless of the collateral damage (see User talk:86.187.169.218), and I assume the same will be true of this second block. But as per Wikipedia:Blocking_policy#Notifying_the_blocked_user I *must* insist that some reason is given for it! You shouldn't be blocking IP ranges for months at a time without any record of why.
Decline reason:
I am closing this use of the unblock request template, a it is clearly not a request for an unblock. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:55, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

[edit]Hello, I'm MSA09. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Carlos Vidal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MSA09 (talk) 00:19, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
