[edit]Hello, I'm RTSthestardust. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. - Can you explain why the change is not constructive? The context of the link was about "white metal bearings" yet linked to the mostly irrelevant article "White Metal", whereas the context implies that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babbitt_(alloy) also known as colloquially as "white metal". The unfixed link is useless.
- Someone just got link happen and linked to an article with a similar name and topic but missed the context.
Or do I need to find an external source to cite to fix this error? I hadn't imagined that wikilinks were subject to that policy. 76.16.75.39 (talk) 23:48, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
