You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: .

You have got to understand that making the article like road signs is not what is allowed on Wikipedia. Please consider that when this block is up in 28 days, otherwise you may face future blocks. Mitch32(The many fail: the one succeeds.) 16:52, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2017

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Penns Neck, New Jersey. Alansohn (talk) 23:03, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Bizarre overlinking

[edit]

As in this edit, why do you frequently link something as amusement park, when it worked perfectly well in lower case without the piped link? You've spent a lot of wasted time editing articles to impose your view on how places and roads should be named, almost all of which have been reverted by several different editors. Can I suggest that you discuss your changes at WT:NJ and make your case for why consensus should change here. Alansohn (talk) 23:00, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

January 2018

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at High Point State Park. After ample previous warning, you are continuing to break links in articles, doing so twice in one paragraph. Alansohn (talk) 23:30, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edits contrary to consensus

[edit]

Noe that your block has ended, you're back to this edit, which changes links from the article titles established by consensus and adds the usual overlinks. Please work with other editors and stop these quixotic changes to articles that are near-instantly reverted. Communicating here can be the first step. Alansohn (talk) 15:32, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 • As in this edit, I tried to keep useful changes, but your edits to that article made changes to article names in contradiction to longstanding consensus and added such bizarre overlinks as county seat and truss bridge (twice). I'm not sure what you're trying to do now that your block has ended, but I hope that this conversation can start by responding here on your talk page. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Downstate New York. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. After a previous month-long block, the disruptive edits continue. Why would a link be deliberately changed to a disambiguation page as the only edit to the article? Alansohn (talk) 01:04, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Consensus is rather clear that links should match the page title. These edits are purely disruptive.
