Recent edit to Beliefs and ideology of Osama bin Laden

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Beliefs and ideology of Osama bin Laden), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! JustBerry (talk) 03:04, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to János Kádár

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you recently made a contribution to the János Kádár article that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! However, test edits on live articles disrupt Wikipedia and may confuse readers. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 06:12, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Japanese holdout, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Alexf(talk) 13:43, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jess. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Evolutionary origin of religions, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Hello, I'm Donner60. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to America at a Crossroads seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 02:58, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Women to drive movement. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 05:40, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

America at a Crossroads. There is no need to negatively characterize American actions when explaining a series that deals with problems of American servicemen and similar topics. Perhaps more importantly, there is already a section about criticism to the show. That section is more than enough "balance" for conflicting views without tainting the entire article. I did not leave a further warning message because I am willing to assume your good faith but I think you should reconsider your position. If you have any further criticism from a reliable, verifiable, neutral source, I suggest you consider putting it in the appropriate section with a citation, provided that the addition is not so extensive as to overwhelm the description of the show. Also, Wikipedia does not change or distort or delete material from articles just because in someone's opinion the subject of an article or someone who is written about in the article (or quoted in the article) does not agree with their opinion. That is at least part of the point of Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Donner60 (talk) 02:29, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Racism in Saudi Arabia. Donner60 (talk) 01:06, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Can I advise you to start making use of article talk pages. It is clear from your edit history that you know what talk pages are, because you use other editors' talk pages. My advice is that next time you want to edit an article, instead of editing the article, try explaining your proposed edit on the article's talk page. If nobody objects after 24 hours, then make the edit to the article.

At the moment you have got yourself locked into an edit-warring cul-de-sac. You will be more successful if you change your editting-behaviours.-- Toddy1 (talk) 18:23, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
