Welcome!
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Rest! If you are interested in editing more often, I suggest you create an account to gain additional privileges. Happy editing! - AwfulReader(talk) 11:01, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks! Even though I have already been welcomed several times. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 11:04, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
A cupcake for you!
Hey there! I'm happy to see IPs like you reverting vandalism! Keep up the great work! LPS and MLP Fan (Littlest Pet Shop and My Little Pony Fan) 21:16, 3 May 2022 (UTC) |
Thank you for the kind message! 47.227.95.73 (talk) 22:22, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- I'd like to hop on the appreciation train! Came across one of your reverts at Pending Changes. You're one of the main reasons I wish the "Thank" button existed for IPs; thanks for keeping up the encyclopedia! Perfect4th (talk) 00:05, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
A WikiCookie for you!
- Thank you for your anti-vandalism efforts, 47.227.95.73. You know there are real benefits that come from creating a registered account like having a Watchlist where you can keep track of articles you are interested in. I encourage you to consider registering an account, it would also conceal your IP account number which can reveal information about you...this information is not seen once you create a username to use instead. Thanks again. Liz Read! Talk! 00:17, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
A brownie for you!
Thanks for pitching in the anti-vandalism work. I live 40 miles from Indianapolis; I could deliver the brownie to you in-person. ;) Severestorm28 00:20, 5 May 2022 (UTC) |

Good catch, thanks for that. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:40, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Malcolmxl5: If you are referring to the page protection request, that was not me, it was another vandal-reverting IP. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 12:42, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, but no, I was referring to your efforts in combatting the vandalism there. You both did good work and it’s appreciated. Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:48, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Thanks then, and thank you for protecting the page from further vandalism. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 12:49, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

Thank you! :-)
Hi there! Thanks for removing that vandalism from List of footballers who achieved hat-trick records. I just wanted to leave you a message and let you know that I appreciate it very much. Keep up the great work, and I hope you have an excellent day! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:09, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

- Hi there! You're very welcome! I just ran into you again! Thanks for making [Special:Diff/1086857343|this revert] - much appreciated. I'm sure that you've heard this question numerous times, so forgive me in advance if I'm only piling my question onto the same pile of questions that you get asked here... Do... Do you have a Wikipedia account? If not, is there a particular reason why? If there's any way that I could convince you to create one, and if you do, I'd grant you both the rollback and pending changes reviewer rights instantly. Let me know; I'm curious to hear your thoughts. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:57, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Oshwah: Thanks! And no, I don't have an account, yet, but I am considering it. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 20:14, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- I really hope that you do; there are numerous benefits that come with creating and editing from an account: Additional privileges once you're autoconfirmed (hell, I'd be willing to just mark you off as 'confirmed' if you made one), no CAPTCHA requirements, the ability to be granted and hold user rights, the list really does go on. A benefit that I believe would be most significant to you is the ability to use custom scripts, tools, and applications that make patrolling recent changes, reverting vandalism, and identifying bad faith edits significantly more streamlined. Check out my script pages (here and here) if you're curious as to what scripts I use. I've been patrolling, identifying, reverting, and preventing vandalism, harassment, and abuse for over 13+ years now... So I'd like to think that I'm pretty knowledgeable in that area. ;-) Let me know if you decide to create an account. Once you do, reach out to me, and I'll hook you up with some really neat stuff. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:34, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Patient Zero. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Sarah McKim—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Patient Zerotalk 00:54, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Patient Zero: I believe you made a mistake, look at the edit history. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 00:54, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- I did, very sorry about that - have reverted myself. I meant to revert the vandalism and accidentally reverted you using automated software. Patient Zerotalk 00:56, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- I also gather you're incredibly good at finding vandalism on here; I echo Oshwah that you should definitely consider making an account. :-) Patient Zerotalk 00:58, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Thank you!
Interstatefive has kittynapped your kitten! The kitten made them happy and they'd like to give you an enormously massive hug for inadvertently donating it. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a kitten, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the goodness of kittens by adding {{subst:Kitten}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or kittynap a kitten with {{subst:Kittynap}}.
It's almost as if you huggle, even if you cant. You are so fast! You even ninjaed me to using the rollback feature just now. Great job, and keep it up! interstatefive (talk) - just another roadgeek 00:56, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks! And I would also like to thank you for keeping Wikipedia clean of vandals! 47.227.95.73 (talk) 00:58, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Good work at Dispute between Darnhall and Vale Royal Abbey. Thank you. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 01:36, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
Hello!
Ran into you again, I saw that you were reverting multiple edits using undo. I don't know if you know about this, but it's much easier to restore a previous stable version rather than undoing each edit one-by-one. Go to a previously stable version, for example: Special:Permalink/1084570455 was a stable version I reverted to, then click the edit tab. It will warn you that you are editing an older version, but that's not a big deal. Enter an edit summary, and once you save the edit, it will restore the page to that version. I hope that helps!. --*Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page 23:07, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me! I had heard about this earlier, but I didn't understand it fully. Hopefully I'll be able to do it now. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 23:21, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

I reverted your edit to Saline Valley salt tram
You had made "United States" into a link. I reverted it per MOS:OVERLINK, which says:
An article is said to be overlinked if it contains an excessive number of links, making it difficult to identify those likely to aid a reader's understanding. A good question to ask yourself is whether reading the article you're about to link to would help someone understand the article you are linking from. Unless a term is particularly relevant to the context in the article, the following are usually not linked:
It then gives several examples including:
The names of subjects with which most readers will be at least somewhat familiar. This generally includes major examples of:
and a list follows, which includes:
countries (e.g., Japan/Japanese, Brazil/Brazilian).
A kitten for you!
For persistent anti-vandalism efforts and demonstrated, consistent dedication to reverting disruptive editing.
