Edits to Eris (dwarf planet)
Hello, 27 is the best number,
Some of the edits I made to Eris (dwarf planet) were reverted by your most recent edit to the article, even though I had explained those on your talk page previously. I have no intention to start an edit war, and I am sure neither do you. The article in question is a featured article, and the changes made do not seem to benefit it. As I was not the first to revert an edit you made on stylistic reasons (I didn't have to start a new topic on your talk page when I commented on it), I would ask you to please discuss the issue before restoring your version again. Thank you! Renerpho (talk) 23:10, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
Desired updates to Finland-NATO relations
Hello, I see that you applied a template requesting updates to this article. I had actually thought that the article was au courant; in the 'Application' section, it describes the state of play (official intention to join, parliamentary debate started this week). Can you elaborate on what updates you think that the article is missing, please? In the absence of anything concrete, I am minded to remove the template, because I actually don't think there's anything to be done to bring it more up to date. Speedy tagging
How can you possibly think that Eloisa Reverie Vezzosi qualifies for a WP:G11?--Bbb23 (talk) 23:00, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Duodecimal into Senary. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 00:19, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
Gnoming
There is nothing wrong with gnomish editing in principle, but it is extremely important that gnomish editors not make things substantively worse. I looked at 3 of your recent edits (because they appeared on my watchlist); two of them introduced errors that were much more significant than any improvements you made. Please take much more care! - You just removed Italics from many mathematical variables in the Complex number article and left no edit summary. Why?—Anita5192 (talk) 20:54, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Anita5192 The italics tag (''text'') doesn't look nice in the "
<math></math>
" tags. - Example: 27 is my favorite number. You can ask me why here. 21:39, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Anita5192 The italics tag (''text'') doesn't look nice in the "
- Here is one of the lines as you left it. Many of your edits were in this form:
- The complex conjugate of the complex number z = x + yi is given by x − yi.
- Notice how y and i are Italicized, but x and z are not. In this case, the mathematical variables should all be Italicized.—Anita5192 (talk) 22:05, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- And please leave edit summaries.—Anita5192 (talk) 22:07, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
Okay, I will be more careful and add edit summaries. 27 is my favorite number. You can ask me why here. 22:18, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
