[edit]Removal of source on snooker articles
[edit]I reverted your recent edits at snooker articles such as David Gray (snooker player) and Dean Reynolds and others since you removed a source without any kind of explanation. If you have a problem with the source it would be best to start a discussion at the article talk page or WT:SNOOKER, but please remember that all claims must be WP:Verifiable. [edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at tennis scoring system and Safe Haven (film). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. —Lowellian (reply) 11:35, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Andy Keogh, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox instead. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 10:41, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Edits to snooker articles
[edit]Please stop making unsourced changes to snooker articles as you did at David Gray (snooker player), Dave Harold, Dean Reynolds, Rod Lawler, Nick Dyson and Michael Holt (snooker player). All information on Wikipedoia needs to be WP:Verifiable which means it must be attributed to a source. The accompanying source for the tournament dates you are altering only gives the season; it does not give the actual year the event was held. If you can provide a source for the actual years then by all means go ahead and change the dates, but please provide a source so the dates are verifiable. Also, please don't remove pertinent about finals as you did here. Many of the snooker player articles have these more advanced tables to provide a complete record of the finals and removing this information makes the article less informative. Betty Logan (talk) 23:59, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
- Furthermore, I see above at I have raised concerns about your edits prior to this latest episode at #Removal_of_source_on_snooker_articles, regarding your removal of a source at the Joe Perry (snooker player) article. After reverting your edit and expressly asking you not to remove sources from articles you subsequently removed the source again two weeks later. If you wish to challenge the source then you may do so by starting a discussion on the article talk page or at WT:SNOOKER, or by requesting further input at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. Please do not remove sources simply leaving information unsourced. Readers—and editors—need to be able to see where the information comes from. I hope this is now clear to you. You would be well advised to click on those links in the "welcome" message at the top of your talk page. Betty Logan (talk) 00:10, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- I am presuming this edit at John Higgins (snooker player) is also yours too since it falls into your range. Care to explain why you removed the linking, when it is customary to link all the tournaments in the "Finals" sections? I am drawing to the conclusion you are not WP:Here to build an encyclopedia. Recent edits to Cao Yupeng
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Cao Yupeng, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!
