Welcome!
Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |
“The Proposition”, led by Kreppel, played The Studio Arena Theater, a professional regional theater in Buffalo NY in June, 1972. In his June 1st review in The Buffalo Evening News, critic Anthony Bannon wrote that the “Proposition” performance was: “...a lot like diving off a high board or trapeze, ...(T)heir work gives an audience that sense of freedom.” Bannon continued: “ Each time they begin a new sequence they are in a make-it-or-Break-it situation; once started there’s no going back. What’s great -wonderful- is that they get through it and with such good, creatively intelligent fun, playing on words, ideas, or mock poses instantly discovered.”

[edit]Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Deborah J. Glick), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 04:25, 2 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]I wanted to let you know that political endorsements must meet all three of these criteria:
- The endorser must have an article or be unquestionably entitled to one
- This endorsement must be covered by reliable and independent sources
- Coverage of the endorsement needs to use the word endorse, or other closely related synonym.
This is covered by the consensus at WP:ERFC.
For that reason, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, poker websites, and blogs are not acceptable sources. Also, donating to a campaign or showing up to a campaign rally are not endorsements. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you - MrX 🖋 17:40, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Scottish inventions and discoveries. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Megan Barris (Lets talk📧) 21:04, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Scottish inventions and discoveries, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox instead. Thank you. Megan Barris (Lets talk📧) 21:05, 28 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at 2021 New York City Council election, you may be blocked from editing. Flagrant puffery in George Takei's endorsement was not even close to acceptable, plain fact description. You've been around a long time and have been making a lot of edits that violate MOS or NPOV so this is a level 3 warning combining a lot of non-specific edits that have had to be undone on NYC/S political articles with you not getting the hint from myself and other editors. Next instance will be escalated. JesseRafe (talk) 12:51, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit] You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at 2021 New York City Council election.
You've been told MANY times to stop sourcing incorrectly. You've added the Schulman links, probably a half dozen times at this point. Do you have a COI? Next iteration will result in a report, you've been warned formally and informally (via edit summaries) more than enough. JesseRafe (talk) 17:13, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at 2021 New York City borough president elections. It's been three weeks since last warning, so one more chance, but next will just be straight to a report. JesseRafe (talk) 12:29, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
