[edit]Hello, I restored the section that you deleted earlier on the subjects private sector work. You did not offer a reason for your deletion, so it registers as vandalism. If you have a valid beef with that section, or if you believe there are source errors or language problems, please take it to the talk page. Thanks....Phoebe13 (talk) 16:36, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]You wrote (regarding Rolex) "The purported lack of interest stemmed primarily from certain officials and national team coaches with either substantial connections to breeders of heavier horses, or to owners and riders who may have profited from more opportunities to compete their horses during a season, possibly to the horses' long term detriment. Support for the classic format is almost universal among lower-level riders and owners."
Now, I'm all for the long format, but this sounds a bit non-NPOV. Could you source the information regarding the "certain officials" who have these connections? Who are these breeders of heavier horses (b/c as far as I know, the event horse breeding scene in the US is pretty small) that have such power? And just because the classic format is widely supported by the lower-level riders, doesn't mean that this base is providing enough funds for the continuation of the classic format at the *** and **** level. You make it sound like there are a few people who are running the show, and manipulating the Rolex event to force it to remain short format. I always thought the organizer was a huge fan of the classic format. Why would she give in to these people? Now, I don't rub shoulders with upper level riders or run in those kind of circles, so you could be hitting the nail right on the head, but could you please provide a source?
