A tag has been placed on Dj Sly (Ghana), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Dj Mynor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on DJ Mynor, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

Final warning

[edit]

I have also cleaned up several other promotional articles which you wrote. All were full of fluff language ("leading", "legendary", "bagged" awards, and that's just a small sample.). Before you write another article, please ensure that you read and understand our policies and guidelines on neutrality of tone, language, and content, reliable sources, and notability. If you should once more write a promotional article, you will be blocked from editing. Also please note that it is strongly recommended that inexperienced editors write articles as a draft and seek review by articles for creation rather than attempting to put articles directly into the encyclopedia. Finally, since these articles have been promotional, note that you must disclose if you are being paid or compensated to edit Wikipedia, including if you are asked or expected to do so as a duty of employment. Nomination of Smile Baba for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Smile Baba is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Smile Baba until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. GSS (talk|c|em) 10:19, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alesandra Seutin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://greenwichdance.org.uk/classes/professional/professional-class-alesandra-seutin. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Hello 197something. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Peter Kenvyn Jones, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:197something. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=197something|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Voceditenore (talk) 11:46, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Voceditenore, I understand your terms clearly and maybe my actions create an impression that am being paid for edit but honestly am not being paid for any edit. For every page i create or edit i do it on my free will as a writer. I'm sorry if my actions speaks otherwise.Armyman (talk) 12:57, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the fact that you have been repeatedly warned about your promotional articles, several of which have been deleted as unambiguous advertising gives the distinct impression of paid editing. Can you also explain why out-of-the-blue you went to the obscure draft of Peter Kenvyn Jones and moved it into article space? Voceditenore (talk) 16:44, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Can you also please explain how you obtained File:Wiki photo.pdf and File:Erskine.jpg both of which which you uploaded to Commons claiming them to be your own work? Voceditenore (talk) 16:57, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Voceditenore, I admit that most of the articles I created looked promotional when I first joined Wikipedia but I was warned about it and tried on improving the structure of newer articles. I came across Peter Kenvyn jones draft by going through afd pages, you will find it strange that over 100+ afd pages only Peter jones page I chose. I wish I could give u a definite explanation on it. Concerning the images, I obtained erskine whyte image when the publication I work for wrote a piece on him. Photos that weren't used for the article was kept and when I join Wikipedia I realized his page didn't have image and decided to use the image that wasn't used for the article.

For the Peter jones image, I got it from sound click but if u can notice I didn't place it on the page after I uploaded it because I made a mistake with the copyright license by stating I was the owner of the image.Armyman (talk) 19:45, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The image on SoundClick is a jpg file, unlike the one you uploaded, which is a PDF. More importantly, someone with your past record of multiply deleted promotional articles should not even move your own drafts from AfC to article space, let alone move those of other editors. Since you cannot give a credible explanation to why under those circumstances you went to AfC and picked that one draft out of the approximately 1500 awaiting review and moved it into article space, I will draw my own conclusions. Voceditenore (talk) 17:00, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Voceditenore,It was converted by me. And it's like you are judging me base on my past actions which I think it's not fair. I admit my wrong doing of moving a page I shouldn't had but I don't think you should judge me like how are making it look like Armyman (talk) 19:56, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
