Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Grizzly bear, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use your sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Mathonius (talk) 09:22, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Shrimp. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place "{{helpme}}" on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Shrimp was changed by 194.83.70.241 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.891184 on 2012-05-05T09:22:15+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 09:22, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Bootham School, you may be blocked from editing. Mathonius (talk) 09:23, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Grizzly bear, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Pinethicket (talk) 09:27, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Mars (mythology). O.Koslowski (talk) 12:08, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Dionysus, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Haploidavey (talk) 12:11, 17 November 2012 (UTC) [reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices. I've struck through this warning, as the edit to Dionysus seems good faith. Subsequent non-constructive edits to other articles, however, made after the final warning above this, justify blocking per policy. Haploidavey (talk) 18:11, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Circus Maximus

[edit]

I've reverted the substitution of Pliny's unreliable estimate (250,000) for the revised (modern) estimates of the Circus' seating capacity; please check any reliable cited sources before making such changes to article content. In general, numbers used in ancient primary sources tend towards wild overestimation; they are not to be trusted, and if they are used, should not take precedence over those used in reliable sources and modern scholarship. The Humphrey source is very reliable. Thank you. Haploidavey (talk) 17:20, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
