[edit]Good work on the Ebert article, trimming away weak material. Wikipedia is woefully short of editors. Abductive (reasoning) 07:08, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
- NP. I write professionally, and was kind of taken aback to see the article was kind of a mess, simply because of many people adding and adding sometimes duplicative, sometimes ephemeral, and sometimes sloppily worded stuff, over the years. Ebert wrote well, and deserves a decently written article.

[edit]No problem with your edit on the Roger Ebert article removing my superfluous description of the Pulitzer Prize. Here's why I added it: I'm a big fan of Pauline Kael and I couldn't figure why RE would win a Pulitzer before she did. And, on reading our article about the PP for Criticism, I learned that Pulitzers (duh!) are only given to people who write for newspapers. Since PK wrote for magazines, most famously The New Yorker, she was never even in the running. Oh, well. But as I said, I have no problem with your removal of my "gloss"—your edit was perfectly valid and, as prideful as I am, my feelings are not hurt. On a related topic, we need to start paring down the overblown "medical problems" section. We could use help from a pro like you. --108.45.72.196 (talk) 22:41, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
