[edit]Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (155.188.183.18) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page. Again, welcome! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:40, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rib Mountain (town), Wisconsin has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Wausau-WI/Town-of-Rib-Mountain-Wisconsin/108362242530831?ref=ts.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:40, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.
Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your contributions, such as your recent edit to Mark May, did not appear to be constructive and was automatically reverted by DASHBot.
- Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- DASHBot produces few false positives, but they do happen. If you believe the bot has reverted your edit wrongly, it is helpful if you report the error so the bot does not make the same mistake again. Please:
- Click here to submit a false positive report.
- Edit this page and remove this message.
Thanks, DASHBot Anti-Vandalism (talk) 20:45, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:29, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
Gingrich presidential campaign article
[edit]I'm afraid that if you continue your behaviour at the Gingrich presidential campaign article you will almost certainly be reported for edit-warring, a blockable offence. You need to read and understand e.g. WP:WEIGHT and WP:EDITWARRING before you continue. I shall not revert your latest offering at present but others may. I repeat that, if you then insist on reverting to your versions now that your attention has been drawn to the reasons for their deficiencies, including WP:WEIGHT, you will almost certainly be reported for edit-warring. I am posting this to the talk pages of the other IP addresses you use to edit the article. Writegeist (talk) 20:08, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Scott Stapp. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to a loss of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox.

[edit]Hello, I'm Kuyabribri. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Melky Cabrera without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. The removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, —KuyaBriBriTalk 20:54, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Kirk Herbstreit. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 20:35, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your recent edits to Jesse James (customizer) have been reverted as they could be seen to be defamatory or potentially libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dennis Bratland (talk) 18:36, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Eurodyne. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Electric Forest Festival— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Eurodyne (talk) 19:05, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
