ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, शिव साहिल. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 2 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

ARBIPA sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please be careful
[edit]Hello. You recently archived three threads on ANI that were still active. The two that you archived after that were closed so that was okay. Please be careful and take a closer look before taking actions on that page. MarnetteD|Talk 02:54, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
- I replied on my talk page but I will reiterate it here - it is suggested that threads not be archived until at least 24 hours after they have been closed. That gives editors from all over the globe a chance to see what happened. There is no need to hurry threads into the archive. Indeed there have been several discussions over the years recommending that the wait time of 24 hours and/or letting the bot do the archiving naturally. MarnetteD|Talk 02:59, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2019 India–Pakistan standoff; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please stop edit-warring on the article - and note that the article is subject to discretionary sanctions.Nigel Ish (talk) 11:32, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]You restored a version that was written misrepresenting the sources as a WP:SOAPBOX. You are expected to share your specific concerns with evidence. You are free to disagree and raise issues on the talk page. User:Winged Blades of Godric has already caught the main contributor of that page mehrajmir blatantaly falsifying the sources to push an agenda. You should read the sources in detail first before responding. --DBigXrayᗙ 14:47, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Shiv Sahil Guleri.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Shiv Sahil Guleri.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

[edit]Please comment on Talk:Libertarianism
[edit]Please comment on the discussion regarding the use of the term "right libertarian" to describe libertarians that do not oppose free markets, and that do not make a clear distinction between laissez-faire capitalism and advocacy of free markets. This discussion can be found on the talk page for the Libertarianism article. The term is primarily used in a derogatory way and by self-described "left-libertarians". The individuals described in that article, and in the poorly-titled right-libertarianism article do not typically identify with the political right - or the political for that matter. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Thoothukudi massacre, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See Talk:Thoothukudi massacre AntanO 09:15, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
- I advice to know when to use template abuse on user's talk page. I have good knowledge on wiki policies and guidelines. You have mentioned couple of guidelines. But, don't you know you cannot move a page that already had same discussion and remain as per consensus via admin intervention? --AntanO 07:17, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
Please be careful of your actions! Don't delete major content without discussion
[edit]Me and a couple of editors have found severe issues with your editing recently. In Pages for Atif Aslam and Sonu Nigam you have quickly removed a lot of content without any discussion. They are properly checked for sources and revisions, if you have any concerns contact fellow editors.These are content with a lot of research. You can't remove huge contents like that without proper discussion. Please leave a message if you have any questions or concerns. But if you continue this behavior you will soon be blocked from editing anymore pages.

[edit]You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service
[edit]Hi शिव_साहिल! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over six months.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in six months.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
- Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
- Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
- Paste
{{Frs user|शिव_साहिल|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month. - Publish the page.
If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:01, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
