Disambiguation link notification for January 29
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bouizakarne, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Driss Benzekri. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hello, I'm FormalDude. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Fez, Morocco, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ––FormalDude (talk) 02:06, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

. Valereee (talk) 12:03, 12 April 2024 (UTC)- Hey, سنوببي, I don't understand edits you're making like this one. Can you explain what you're trying to do?
- No objection to any other admin lifting the block once they've got this editor discussing. Valereee (talk) 12:08, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- I tried to add the English link of this page to my new translated article of John Goodma. what's the issue if my mother tongue if add language links of the same article to my language (Darija الدارجة)? .
- I guess the decision of blocking my account was cruel. سنوببي (talk) 00:14, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hey, سنوببي. We can work with you. We just are trying to understand what you're doing, because to us it looks like you're adding stray markup. There are ways to add links to an article in other languages, is that what you're trying to do? Valereee (talk) 00:49, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Yes. I was trying to add the article link to another language (الدارجة) . But as it seems I did a mistake. Is there any possible way to unblock me please? سنوببي (talk) 00:52, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- and what is the proper manner of adding links of another languages? سنوببي (talk) 00:54, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- I've unblocked you.
- Links to articles in other languages are added inline (where you'd normally link to an article already present here on en.wiki) using a template, Template:Interlanguage link.
- But if you're just trying to make sure the two articles are linked via Wikidata, you can look at the left side of any article at the bottom of the various convenience links. For instance, John Goodman is already linked to articles in 85 different languages.
- If the language you're looking to add a link to isn't already listed at Wikidata, you can go there and add it, scrollling clear to the bottom of the listing. The Wikidata item for John Goodman is here, and it shows the item is already linked on ary.wiki. Valereee (talk) 11:56, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Understood. Thanks for your comprehension سنوببي (talk) 13:44, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
