2.0 EDUCATION BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS: COURSE : Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)-Public Health Description: PhD studies undertaken at Sokoine University of Agriculture (2010 - 2014) featured Veterinary Public Health. Thesis: BOVINE TUBERCULOSIS TRANSMISSION BETWEEN LIVESTOCK AND WILDLIFE IN THE INTERFACE OFKATAVI RUKWA ECOSYSTEM, TANZANIA. Studies covered epidemiological analysis of the pathogens largely in integrated agropastoral production systems, Wildlife and livestock interaction evaluation, Spatial and temporal distribution (GIS) as well as Laboratory detection and identification of the bacteria to the molecular level. Major laboratory expertise was ELISA and Molecular (PCR, rtPCR and Sequencing) identification of microbes.
