Deux femmes en or (Two Women in Gold) is a 1970 French-Canadian feature from Claude Fournier, one of a group of Canadian films known as ‘Maple Syrup Porno.’ [1]
Synopsis
[edit]Hot on the heels of Valérie, Claude Fournier[2] directed another Québécois soft-core porn hit. After reading a book on sexual liberation, two bored housewives (Monique Mercure and Louise Turcot) in wealthy suburban homes make up for their husband’s lack of ardour by taking in the tradesmen. All goes well until an elderly bird salesman dies in the act, leading to embarrassing complications. After a comic investigation and trial, the women are acquitted and an American producer purchases their story for a million dollars. [3][4]
