Muri & Mario, at times Muri og Mario is a Danish-Italian pop duo made up of Murad Mahmoud (Muri) and Mario Sciacca (Mario).
They formed the duo in 2009 putting out a number of Latin-inspired pop songs on their own Copenhagen-based label "Vieni Qua Music", an indie label with a Latin twist. Their songs often mixed bilingual Danish/Italian releases included "Mio amore"[3] about spreading love through a canvas drawing project. It was followed by songs like "Tusind stykker" and "Cosa del amor", "På netdate fandt vi sammen" which found some following on YouTube.
It was however with "Hun tog min guitar" in 2011 that they gained big response becoming an online sensation. The song meaning "She took my guitar" in Danish was about an actual incident about Muri's ex-girlfriend who left taking away his guitar with her. She was bothered he spent more time with his guitar than with her. "She never gave the guitar back", said Muri in an interview. [4] The big response online prompted them to release it in the summer of 2012 as their official debut single. They also organized a campaign where fans were asked to send them personal clips showing the fans performing parts of the song. More than a hundred fans responded and some appear in the music video.[5] The song eventually made it to number one on the Hitlisten, the Danish Singles Chart where it stayed 2 weeks at the top. The song charted for 19 weeks in total including the charts including 8 weeks in Top 5. The official music video is made up of selections from more than 120 fans sending their own shots doing the already popular song. The follow up single "Mambo" has also charted well reaching number 13 on the Hitlisten chart.

Who the F**k Is Justin Bieber"
[edit]"Werldwayd/Further Development 4" | |

Song |
"Who the F**k Is Justin Bieber" is a 2013 single by Charleston Clubbers released on 12 June 2013 on YeahYeah, their first charting single and distributed via Warner Music. Although the single passes the "fuck" comment uncensored, the cover of the official release represents the word as "f**k". The track contains the catch phrase "Who the fuck is Justin Bieber?" from Ozzy Osbourne.
Context The single samples the quotation by Ozzy Osbourne who in appeared on Fuse television channel's show A Different Spin in 2010 and made that comment. The artist Mark Hoppus, the host of the show, was asking what music Osbourne listens to. Osbourne initially replied: "I don't listen to new metal bands... If you ask me, give me the top ten of the good new metal bands... One of the dangers of that is, if you start to like it... If something gets into my head, it will come out my mouth you know...", to which Hoppus retorted : "So you listen a lot to Justin Bieber then?" to which Osbourne replied "Who?" and Hoppus insisted "Justin Bieber", to which Osbourne responded: "Who the fuck is Justin Bieber?".[11][12] Hoppus commented back: "I like that answer. That's perfect".
Reception Music critics have resembled the sampling to the hit "We No Speak Americano" by Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP.[13] with similar style of using the saxophone and bass.
Chart position The single was initially released only in the Scandinavian countries and in its first week of released entered at number 31 on Tracklisten, the official Danish Singles Chart.

Karl Michael (born 1986) is a singer-songwriter from Northampton who was vocalist for the band The Wayne Foundation in 2005. It was signed with Sony BMG (2005-2007). He later on formed the duo Domino Go! that was signed to Atlantic Records (2009-2012). After the break-up, he became a contestant in series 2 of the British The Voice UK in 2013. He was eliminated in the semi-final rounds of the show against Andrea Begley, the season's eventual winner.
Beginnings Born in Clare, Suffolk[15], he was raised in Northampton. Since the age of nine, Karl knew he wanted to become a singer. At 16, he left to Nottingham to study singing and pursue a career.[15] and eventually settled in Kennington, London.
In 2005, Nick Raphael and Jo Charrington, signed him for a deal with Sony BMG and soon he became part of the alternative reggae/ska indie pop rock group The Wayne Foundation within the label.[16] They released the EP Friday Night Nation in July 2007. But soon after, the relationship soured with Sony BMG, as Karl announced his decision to quit the band for the direction it was taking, and in order to have more freedom to work on his own music.
He eventually formed the duo Domino Go! with Timz.[17][18] Michael was the singer-songwriter and vocalist, with Timz on guitar and production. Their style was a fusion of pop and soul.[19] The duo signed with Atlantic Records in 2009. But that contract was terminated in 2012 while they were recording an album with the label.[citation needed] After the break-up, Michael started working double shifts as a window washer and in a bar.[19] He enlisted however the guidance of worldwide management company Twenty First Artists, to focus his attention on a strictly solo career.[20]
Music career 2013: The Voice UK In 2013, Karl applied to The Voice UK in its second season for a better chance to pursue a musical career. In his blind audition in series 2, Karl sang his version of Annie Lennox hit "No More I Love You's". All four coaches will.i.am, Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J and Tom Jones turned round in a bid to add Karl to their teams. will.i.am was the first to turn around. But Michael opted to be in Danny's team. He was eliminated after performing in the semi-final round, and finishing 5th-8th overall.
Michael considers Taio Cruz, James Morrison, Craig David, The Script, Terence Trent D'Arby and many more as his musical influences.

Patrice Sylvestre better known by his stage name Slaï (born Val-d'Oise, France on 10 February 1973) is a French singer of Guadeloupe origin
Sylvestre, born in France, actually passed his childhood and adolescence in Guadeloupe until 1996, when he returned to France. Interested in music early on, he release "Flamme" in 1998 that became a huge success in the Caribbean region and earned him a great following. He released his debut album Fresh in 1998 and the follow-up album, the self-titled Slaï in 2002 in local Caribbean markets. The releases were also known in Caribbean immigrant circles in France.
Slaï's fame crossed over to French mainstream as radio stations picked up on his repertoire of tropical songs as the genre gained more popularity in France and the genre being used in many mainstream French songs. As a result, Slaï decided to release his "Flamme" after many years of its original release in France, the single reaching number 4 on SNEP, the official French Singles Chart. Coinciding with the belated single, and with increased interest in tropical sounds, was his second album Florilège that reached 14 in the French albums and was certified double gold. Follow-up singles included "La dernière danse (ne rentre pas chez toi ce soir)" reaching number 9. In 2008, Slaï released Caraïbes that cracked the Top 10 in France.
In popular culture In the French 2013 tribute album dedicated to tropical sounds that had been popular with the French public, the collective chose to include Slaï's famous hit "Flamme" as one of the definitive tropical songs of the period. It was included in the repertoire of songs on the 12-track album Tropical Family. "Flamme" was interpreted by Axel Tony and Layanah on the album.
Slaï himself took part however in two other tribute tracks on the same album. They are "Les Poèmes de Michelle", a Teri Moïse song which Slaï did in solo. On a second track, the song "Il jouait du piano debout" from France Gall, Slaï performed it as a duo with Mélissa Nkonda.

Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo (born in Ogwule, Agatu Local Government Area, Benue State, Nigeria)[14] known by his stage name Blackface Naija or just Blackface is a Nigerian dancehall, ragga and reggae singer and songwriter. He is best known as co-writer of "African Queen" with 2face Idibia, a song made famous by the latter after it appeared on his debut solo album Face 2 Face in 2004 to become an international hit.
In Plantashun Boyz
Blackface was a founding member of the Nigerian band Plantashun Boyz that he formed in 2000 with Tuface (also known as 2face Idibia) and musician Chibuzor Oji (better known as Faze). Blackface and Tuface had met in 1996 when they were studying at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) in Enugu. Faze joined a brief while later.
The band released two successful albums Body and Soul in 2000 and Sold Out in 2003. The band broke up in 2004, to be briefly reunited in 2007 for just one more album Plan B.
Although he kept sustainable relations with Faze, his rift with Tuface (2face Idibia) widened, particularly over the rights to the song "African Queen".[15][16]
Solo career After the Plantashun Boiz split up in 2004, Scarface led a solo musical career. He released the hip hop album Ghetto Child in May 2007 collaborating with a number of artists. The album contains "Hard Life" featuring Alabai as the first single. He also recorded a full album for his crew D Tribunal called What We Are.
After Ghetto Child, he released Evergreen, Jungle Fever, Me, Musiq and I, Dancehall Business and the prospective Defender.[15] In 2013, he made a collaborative album 200 with Maine Eazz.
Personal life Blackface was married with Dayo for eight years and has two children, Caroline and Alex. The couple agreed to separate pending divorce procedures.[17][18]

Career His earlier releases include "From Cali With Love", "GANGSTEROUS" and "Rags to Riches" that launched his career in 2013. However it was with the release of "Tsunami" in collaboration with Canadian Canadian electronic music duo DVBBS that he shot to international fame. At first there was confusion about the actual creator of the track. The single, had been a big hit at festivals for months and occasionally been attributed to DJ Sander van Doorn, but was confirmed by Pete Tong to be the work of DVBBS and Borgeous.[19] In its world exclusive, Tong played the song on his show on BBC Radio 1 on August 16, 2013.[20] Billboard magazine called it “the most played tune at Tomorrowland,” the 2013 Belgian electronic music festival.[19] It was officially released on Doorn Records on August 19, 2013.[19][21] A week later, it reached #1 on the Beatport 100.[22] The song has charted worldwide on iTunes, reaching #1 in the Netherlands, also charted in Belgium, Cyprus, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Canada and Germany.[23]

- Not to be confused with Adrián Carlos Olivares, another member of Menudo
Carlos Emmanuel Olivero better known as Carlito Olivero (born in Chicago, Illinois, 1989) is an American singer and actor of mixed Puerto Rican-Mexican origin. He sings in English and Spanish. From 2007 to 2009, he was part of the Latin boy band Menudo after taking part in MTV's Making Menudo. Moving to Los Angeles in 2009, he appeared various singing and acting events and in 2012 appeared in the film We the Party. In 2013, he auditioned for season 3 of the American singing competition series The X Factor and is in the Top 40, one of ten in the "Boys" category mentored by Paulina Rubio.
Beginnings He was born and raised in Chicago to a father of Puerto Rican origin and a mother from Mexico. He started very early ever since his parents bought him a karaoke machine and he started singing to its tunes. His father and some of his uncles and aunts were break dancers. From grade one onwards, he started taking part in competitions singing mainly Elvis Presley, 'NSYNC and B2K songs.
In Making Menudo (2007)
In 2007, Adrian Carlos Olivares took part in an MTV reality series titled Making Menudo to earn a spot in the reconfigured famous Latin boy band. Ricky Martin and Draco Rosa were two of many who rotated through the band over the years. Making Menudo launched as a primetime series on October 25, 2007, but was later pushed to afternoons due to low ratings.[26]
The initial Menudo five chosen in the program (JC, Jorge, Monti, Jose and Chris) were put to compete against four other aspiring candidates who didn't make the cut (Antony, Pena, Trevor and Carlos). Eventually Carlos [Olivero] was chosen to be included in Menudo's "final" set-up
In New Menudo (2007-2009)
The "new" Menudo band was made up of:
- Carlos Emmanuel Olivero
- José "Monti" Antonio Montañez
- Emmanuel Jose Vélez Pagán
- Christopher Nelson Moy
- José Bordonada Collazo
The act was signed to a multi-album contract with SonyBMG label Epic Records. The group continued for two years starting in 2007 with their debut singles "Lost" and "More Than Words". The new Menudo disbanded in 2009.
Acting career After disbandment, Carlito relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a singing / acting career. He appeared in small roles in TNT network series Rizzoli & Isles and in an advertisement for Starbucks.
In 2012, Olivares appeared in a lead role in We the Party, a film written and directed by Mario Van Peebles. The film is a revealing look at contemporary youth culture, showing teenagers as they are, not as adults would like them to be. A comedy set in an ethnically diverse Los Angeles high school, it focuses on young friends as they deal with "romance, money, prom, college, sex, bullies, Facebook, fitting in, standing out, and finding themselves".[27] capturing the hopes, confusion, challenges and dreams of today's teenagers as they plunge headlong into an uncertain future. Credited as Carlito Olivero, he plays the role of Paco in the film.
The X Factor (2013) In 2013, he auditioned for season 3 of the American The X Factor. At the time he applied, he was employed as a server in a coffee shop.
On an episode broadcast on September 12, 2013, he auditioned with a soulful rendition of Rihanna's "Stay" getting four "yes"es from the four judges, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. He was picked for the Final 40 "four-chair challenge" round, one of just ten in the "Boys" category and is being mentored by Rubio.

Jeff Gutt (born 1976), is a musician and vocalist originating from Detroit. He was a member and main vocalist of the band Dry Cell for various periods from 1998 to 2012. Gutt took part in two separate seasons of the American reality television series The X Factor. The first was in season 2 (2012) when he was eliminated in "bootcamp" and second time in season 3 (2013), when he reached the Final 16 live shows.
In Dry Cell Gutt started his musical career as main vocalist of Dry Cell in 1998 joining band mates Danny Hartwell, Judd Gruenbaum and Brandon Brown. After performing with them until 2004 and after the band released a studio album titled Disconnected in 2002, he left the band briefly with Dave Wasierski replacing him as main vocalist. Gutt rejoined Dry Cell in 2005.
The band went on a brief hiatus from 2005 to 2007, but in 2008 reunited with same members releasing a compilation The Dry Cell Collection of materials recorded from the issue of Disconnected in 2002 until 2005 and upon reunion in 2008. The band continued to perform until 2012 when it was put on hold, allowing Gutt to apply for X Factor.
Season 2 of The X Factor In 2012, Jeff Gut, auditioned for the second season of the American singing competition series The X Factor. In an episode broadcast on September 20, 2012, Gutt sang "Hallelujah", a cover of Leonard Cohen getting unanimous four "yes"es from the judges Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid. But he couldn't make it past the "bootcamp" stage and was eliminated before the live shows. Several weeks later, Cowell stated to Access Hollywood that one regret he had was sending Gutt home early.
On March 29, 2013, Jeff Gutt released a music video for his debut solo single "Hallelujah" through vimeo.[28]
Season 3 of The X Factor In 2013, he returned once again with the third season of the competition. He auditioned with the song "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" from Aerosmith. After the judges objected, he was offered a second song, "Creep" from Radiohead.[29] Based on that performance, he was put in the Final 40, and one of ten finalists in the "Over 25" category mentored by Kelly Rowland.
It was also announced on Gutt's official website that Dry Cell in which Gutt was main vocalist was now defunct.
In the newly-introduced "four-chair challenge", Gutt sang "Amazing Grace" and was selected as a Final 16 candidate and one of four in the "Over 25" category.
Personal life Gutt is a single father and has one son.
