Masson and Dr. Morrison Masson were trained directly by the Mayo brothers.[2] Lisa Masson's mother, Margaret Jean Masson, has been a registered nurse since 1949 [3] and is a practicing clinical psychologist.[4] Lisa Masson’s ex-husband, Dr. Joseph Johnny Provenzano, a family practice physician, sits on the California State Osteopathic Medical Board of Governors.[5]
