West Renfrewshire is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament (Holyrood). It elects one Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) by the first past the post method of election. It is also one of nine constituencies in the West Scotland electoral region, which elects seven additional members, in addition to nine constituency MSPs, to produce a form of proportional representation for the region as a whole.
Originally created in 1999 for the first Scottish Parliament election, the constituency was abolished for the 2011 election and replaced by two new seats: Renfrewshire North and West, and Renfrewshire South. West Renfrewshire was re-established for the 2026 election with different boundaries.
