My name is the Knowledge Pirate. I discovered this website in 2004 as a 7-year-old curious for history about the Titanic. I created the account Scorpions13256 in 2010, just so I could see the monobook skin. In August 2023, I scrambled the password to that account after I noticed a change in my mental health was affecting how I treated both myself and others. Unfortunately, because I had a lot of unfinished work on the site I could not stay away and I created another account named Scorpions1325. Using that account, I caused an unbelievable amount of disruption throughout its entire existence. Unfortunately, I did not get the courage to leave the site until August 2024, after I finished the largest CCI in Wikipedia history. However, the week before, I had already made a fool ot of myself enough times so that I was permanently kicked from the Discord server. I decided that I would not return to Wikipedia as a normal editor until the rational me was in control at all times. In December 2024, I appealed to arbcom to ask if I was welcome to return after the horrible things I said on-wiki and on Discord. I waited until I was certain that I was not at risk of doing anything dumb. Today, I got an email clarifying that it was okay for me to return as I was not blocked.

Again, I am sorry for the pain I caused other editors. I hope I am able to redeem myself with this account.
