Aldershot Town F.C. History
[edit]Aldershot Town Football Club was founded in 1992 by local buisnessman Terry Owens. After seeking senior status from both the Hamphire FA and Aldershot FA various enquiries were made to numerous football combinations. On the 16th June, that same year, it was announced that Aldershot Town had been accepted into Isthmian League Division 3.
Adershot Town's first competitive match was payed against Clapton Town on the 22nd August 1992, with the shots winning the match by 4 goals to two. [6]
