The Toyota WZ engine family is a series of diesel and petrol PSA engines that were modified for use in toyota vehicles and vehicles developed jointly with Groupe PSA .

DW8 engine introduced as an interim replacement to the 2C-E to meet Euro III emission standards prior. Replaced by the 1CD-FTV.
