I'm here as an editor to help improve content and to participate in a truly awesome project such as Wikipedia is. I consider myself to be more of an editor than a content producer. I like to find references for obscure trivia that has been flagged. I don't like excessive wikilnks. I think they are one of the coolest things about Wikipedia, but used excessively make the body text more difficult to read. Most good things in life are best in moderation. I will bring up topics in the talk section though I don't like to debate. More that likely even if you are dead wrong I won't reply or join in the discussion unless you send a private message to me. I treat this page and my sandbox as testing ground for anything or to give me something to learn. Just remember be bold and give everyone the benefit of not having doubt in them.

Pick from a list of template parameter choices

Do you have a list of possible choices for a template parameter? Use the #switch parser function to define the choices. Then simply enter the choice's numeric value into the template for the applicable parameter, e.g., 1="Sunday" 2="Monday" 3="Tuesday" ... Default choices also can be listed. For simplicity with lists, use a switch statement instead of a "nested if-then-else" conditional statement to control flow.

Tomorrow's featured article Susanna Lee Hoffs (born 1959) is an American singer-songwriter. With Debbi Peterson and Vicki Peterson, she founded the Bangles in 1981. Their second album, Different Light (1986), was warmly received by critics and was certified triple-platinum in 1994. The group's third album, Everything (1988), included the US-top-ten-charting "In Your Room" and number-one "Eternal Flame", both written by Hoffs with Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. Following tensions including resentment at Hoffs's perceived leadership of the band and the stress of touring, the band split in 1989, reforming in 1999. Hoffs's first solo album, When You're a Boy (1991), was followed by Susanna Hoffs (1996). Neither of the releases proved to be as popular as the Bangles's albums, although they yielded two US-charting singles.
