Submission declined on 17 December 2024 by Theroadislong (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Theroadislong 12 hours ago. |

JENTIS
[edit]JENTIS is an Austrian technology company specializing in server-side tracking and data privacy solutions.
History
[edit]JENTIS was founded in 2016 in Vienna, Austria, by data analytics professionals Thomas Tauchner, Christian Kletzander, Walter Parigger, and entrepreneurs Klaus Müller and Robert Nachbargauer. The company was established to provide solutions in web analytics, server-side tracking, and compliance with growing data privacy laws.
In 2022, JENTIS won the EIT Digital Challenge in Brussels and secured a three-million-euro investment in its second seed round, led by Pragmatech Ventures. Over a year later, the company raised eleven million euros in a Series A funding round.
Headquarters and Team
[edit]JENTIS is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, and currently employs 57 people.
Server-Side Tracking
[edit]Server-side tracking collects website data on a dedicated server instead of in the user’s browser, as with traditional client-side tracking. This method ensures that the data is unaffected by adblockers or tracking prevention.
Once captured on the server, the data can be modified and forwarded to analytics and marketing tools. This approach reduces reliance on third parties and enables management of the data protection level.
