Bushtucker trials 2024

[edit]

The contestants take part in daily trials to earn food. These trials aim to test both physical and mental abilities. The winner is usually determined by the number of stars collected during the trial, with each star representing a meal earned by the winning contestant for their fellow campmates.[1]

The public voted for who they wanted to face the trial
The contestants decided who would face the trial
The trial was compulsory and neither the public nor celebrities decided who took part

  • ^Note 1: Celebrities competed in pairs in a race to determine who would become the first leaders of camp. KSI, Jeremy, Daisy May, Michelle and Clara had to drink a cocktail which decided the order they would parachute into camp to choose their partner. The pairs were chosen as follows; John & KSI, Clara & Alan, Daisy May & Phoebe, Janette & Tom, and Michelle & Joey. Clara & won the race and became the first leaders of the camp, making them exempt from the first bushtucker trial. They also had to choose who would face the first bushtucker trial of the series, ultimately picking John and KSI.
  • ^Note 2: Instead of competing to win meals for camp, Nadiya and Joe were instead playing to win portions of food for the Junk Food Buffet.
  • ^Note 3: Joe and Clara were excluded from this trial on medical grounds.

Bushtucker trials

[edit]

The contestants take part in daily trials to earn food. These trials aim to test both physical and mental abilities. The winner is usually determined by the number of stars collected during the trial, with each star representing a meal earned by the winning contestant for their fellow campmates.[2]

The public voted for who they wanted to face the trial
The contestants decided who would face the trial
The trial was compulsory and neither the public nor celebrities decided who took part

Dingo Dollar challenges

[edit]

As well as competing in the Bushtucker trials, celebrities have to complete 'Dingo Dollar Challenges' in order to earn treats for the camp. At least two celebrities are chosen to compete in the challenge. These are often mental challenges, rather than challenges including critters. They must complete the challenge they have been given in order to win 'Dingo Dollars'. After completion of the challenge, the celebrities will take the Dingo Dollars and head to the Outback Shack, where they will purchase one of two snack options, from Kiosk Kev. But, before they are allowed to take the prize, the other celebrities back at the living quarters must answer a question, based on a recent survey. If they get the question right, they will earn the treat, but if they get it wrong, the celebrities will go back empty handed.

The celebrities got the question correct
The celebrities got the question wrong
No question was given, as the celebrities failed to complete the challenge in time.

Bushtucker trials IAC SA

[edit]

The contestants take part in daily trials to earn food. These trials aim to test both physical and mental abilities. The winner is usually determined by the number of stars collected during the trial, with each star representing a meal earned by the winning contestant for their fellow campmates.[3]

Blind auditions

[edit]

The show began with the blind auditions that began airing on March 6, and aired through March 21, 2023, comprising episodes one to six. In each audition, an artist sings their piece in front of the coaches whose chairs are facing the audience. If a coach is interested to work with the artist, they will press their button to face the artist. If a singular coach presses the button, the artist automatically becomes part of their team. If multiple coaches turn, they will compete for the artist, who will decide which team they will join.

Each coach has one "block" to prevent another coach from getting an artist. At the end of the round, each coach formed a team of ten artists, creating a total of 40 artists advancing to the battles. Among the 40 contestants, two are trios.
