Because somehow, no one else has written these simple facts somewhere all together on wikip. Some of these are obviously more prominent than others & I have a bias toward 1980s thru 2000s material & people. I welcome anyone who can balance that out. Take anything you want from here & go for it. -- Pop culture of Canada

Also, I probably have an American bias here- thus, this features too heavily Canadians whose work is largely based in America. This may be somewhat unavoidable, but if there are Canadian celebs who are more only known domestically, they should be included if not featured first
