Kachowhallan is one of the villages of Tehsil Kulgam District Kulgam which is famous for Apple orchads and also Red Chillies and for Natural Spring. The vaillage has a population of about 8500 with almost 100 houses. The village has a road connectivity from Village Okey which was constructed under PMGSY Govt of Inddia. The village has a Govt. Middle School where almost 200 students are enrolled. There is also a Small Library which was opened by Yateem Trust Kashmir.
