Hello… I am Saikou Jammeh

Born in 1990, an accomplished Gambian educator and student of history, with over 14 years of teaching experience. I reside in Kotu, a town in The Gambia.

My journey in education began in 1997 when I was enrolled in primary school. I successfully completed my senior secondary education in 2009. Later that year, i joined The Gambia College, where i pursued and earned a Primary Teacher Certificate in 2012. My commitment to professional development led me to the Management Development Institute (MDI), where i obtained certificates and a diploma in Management Studies. And served as a teacher in various schools across The Gambia, including Farafenni, Bakau, and Latrikunda Danso. In 2024, I joined the Gambia National Library Service Authority, furthering my contributions to education and learning.

In 2023, i embarked on a new academic journey at the University of The Gambia, majoring in History. I am set to complete my degree in 2025. my passion lies in expanding my knowledge and contributing meaningfully to the world of education and learning.

Beyond my professional and academic achievements, I am dedicated to nurturing young minds and promoting a deeper understanding of history and culture. my work is marked by a commitment to excellence and a vision of creating a brighter future through education.
