Rohini Venkata Sundara Varada Rajeswari (Telugu: (November 30, 1936 – August 23, 2010) is considered one of the foremost of modern Telugu Devotional Translator writers. She is the winner of Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University Dharmanidhi Award of 2001.[1]

Early Life and Literary Career

Venkata Sundara Varada Rajeswari was born to Nallam Reddy Venkata Hanumantha Rao, Anasuyamma in Bapatla village of Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh state. Karnaveera Nageswara Rao was her guruvu. Padmasri Eelapata Raghuramaiah was her Maternal Uncle. Venkata Sundara Varada Rajeswari was house wife and wrote devotional books translated from Sanskrit, Hindi to Telugu. In the span of over three decades she Translate many devotional books from Sanskrit to Telugu enlightening the very quintessence of theme written in Sanskrit. The most important characteristic of Venkata Sundara Varada Rajeswari works that attracts the attention of the readers is that she has written in lucid style keeping in view the chastity of the language so as to enable even a layman to understand and recite and reach salvation which is also suggestive of a radical reform in the society especially when regional and communal factors are paving their way to place the very nation in an inexplicable jeopardy. The style of works of Venkata Sundara Varada Rajeswari is lucid and wonderful and the express in of the ideas in lucid style is very heartening to note. Her collection of books include Sri Vishnu, Sri Krishna and Sri Siva Sahasra Namavali Vivaranas, Sri Gargasamhita etc. and her Bio-data was published in Who’s who of Indian Writers 1999 book published by Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and was also published in Biography International 2004, Volume VI book published by Biography International 2004, New Delhi."[2] and also in Bapatla Vaibhavam book. Rohini Venkata Sundara Varada Rajeswari’s second son Rohini Mahesh was also Devotional Writer.
