This user has publicly declared that they have a conflict of interest regarding these Wikipedia articles:
  • Jack Matthews (Author)
  • Robert Hillyer
  • David Steinberg (journalist and photographer)
  • I run Personville Press which publishes ebooks by Mr. Matthews and Mr. Hillyer. I also run the legacy author website ghostlypopulations.com . I usually add one line about new publications. In the case of Hillyer, I wrote a long critical study about that author and I have uncovered lots of new biographical information and cited them online. For that reason I will probably link to the online essay.

First, I wish to state for the record that my work on Wikipedia is 100% volunteer work. I have never been paid to edit an article nor am I interested in doing so. Often I advocate authors and other artists and write feature articles or critical reviews about them -- either for my blog or other publications. In the course of so doing, I may end up editing their wiki pages or even starting one sometimes. In one case, after creating a wiki page, I decided to form a company that would publish that author's books. In that case, the conflict of interest arose after the wiki page was first edited or created.

My first contribution to Wikipedia was on December 3, 2006.

I am a Texas-based writer and editor who has been blogging since summer 2000. I run a small ebook publishing house called Personville Press and have done advocacy work for indie authors and creative commons artists. Also I do volunteer work for Project Gutenberg and write about literary subjects.

Typically, I contribute by adding/correcting relevant hyperlinks and occasionally improving biographies of authors and artists. I regularly edit pages related to Texas.
