orderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a serious mental health condition characterized by emotional instability, impulsivity, and intense mood swings. Individuals with BPD are at a significantly higher risk of suicide compared to the general population. Research indicates that up to 10% of individuals with BPD may die by suicide. PMC

A study published in the journal Psychiatry Advisor found that, over a 24-year period, patients with BPD had a higher mortality rate compared to the general population. PSYCHIATRY ADVISOR

These findings underscore the critical need for early diagnosis and effective treatment to mitigate the risks associated with BPD.
