This list of tallest buildings in New York City ranks skyscrapers in New York City by height. The tallest building in the city is currently the Empire State Building. World Trade Center Towers 1 and 2 (at 1,368 feet (417 m) and 1,362 feet (415 m) respectively) were the first and second tallest buildings in New York City before they were destroyed in the September 11, 2001 attacks.
New York City currently has 191 structures that stand at least 500 feet (152 meters) in height.[1] This is more than any other city in the United States.
